Goodwin got his tactics spot on and Stubbs had his worst game for Accies thanks to wee Arnold from Different Strokes making a nuisance of himself and not allowing him to pass out from the back.

Total shite. Based on that we need to make some serious changes before our next game. Motherwell are a good side but they didn't need to get out of second gear.
Morias's shot that went out for a throw sums us up0 -

Stubbs on Sportsound just now, it's a tough listen. Just threw out the classic "I'm not blaming anyone but"

Good goalscoring record. There's more chance of Alex Morgan signing for us.0 -
I'd be surprised to see Morgan back but he'd be a very welcome addition.
I assume Djorkaeff will be moving on as he's not had a sniff. If Morgan was to come in I wonder what that would mean for Durmus too. He's been decent but not made a massive impact.0 -
2-1 Saints. Obika and McAllister off the bench. Hibs to be denied a stone wall penalty.

I kind of agree with you here. I remember Hartley celebrating in front of the North Bank more than once. He was a bit of a pantomime villain and took pelters from our fans so I always thought fair enough.
We need more of away players celebrating infront of the home fans tbf.
It’s what makes the game. The last thing we need is a polite shake of the hand and stroll back to the centre spot.
As I’ve said before I’d be in favour of a law that books away players for not celebrating a goal directly infront of the home fans. If any of the home fans canny take it then they need to find a new hobby on a Saturday afternoon.
Makes it taste even better when you get a last minute winner [emoji4]
Graham is a bit of a nonentity though, seemed like he was trying too hard.0 -
Graham and Stewart have got 4 goals each whereas Obika and Mullen have got 2 each. I don't think it's a stretch to say that they would improve us. I like Henderson too.My biggest surprise about this post isn't the drivel that was spouted, it is the fact that 3 Saints fans liked it.
There isn't one Country player I'd take for our squad let alone our starting eleven.
Their defence is rotten though and I don't fancy either of their keepers.1 -
Thought that wasn't going to happen for us but it was well deserved. County were fortunate not to be down to 10 men and I thought we had a good penalty shout as well when Mackenzie had his jersey pulled.
I enjoyed County having to retake that goal kick in stoppage time. Poetic justice after the constant time wasting.7 -
Is there history with St Mirren and Brian Graham? Seemed odd that he sprinted to celebrate in front of the west stand. He's not a player I really have an opinion on.

Was talking to a Hearts supporting mate yesterday, when I told him we had lost all our away games so far his response was 'You've not won away? Great time to play Hearts then'.
I do like how fans of so many teams think exactly the same.
I'd guess a 0-0, but who knows. Naismith could be the difference.0 -
Only chance of us taking something is if we manage to keep a clean sheet. Not completely impossible, but unlikely.
I reckon Celtic will get a goal after 10/15mins, we'll then defend well and probably have a couple of spells where we have some pressure, some crosses into the box to get our hopes up, but no clear cut chances. Celtic will then get a second about 75/80mins and kill the game.
I'm depressing myself even thinking about it.0 -

I thought Jackson was decent, stupid penalty aside. He was an intelligent player and had good experience.
6 goals wasn't a terrible return.0 -
Apart from Hladky, but Magennis is excellent. He would get a game for most teams in the league.I would take Magennis in a heartbeat, he looked St. Mirren best player by a country mile.0 -
Any early season optimism has probably evaporated. We're not dreadful, we've completed in every game but we've hardly troubled any team we've played.

Agree with both those two. Both are capable of playing at a higher level and I'm sure re both will.Tough to choose 2nd and 3rd for us.
3rd. Not sure just now.
2nd Kyle Magennis - Brilliant young talent, finally showing what he is capable of at this level after an injury ravaged season. Will be our next academy graduate to get a big money move.
1st. The Czech Wall. He is the best goalkeeper we have had for decades. One of the best keepers in the league and will move onto much bigger things in January or at the end of the season. Sexy b*****d that he is.
If Magennis keeps improving he could go on he a regular in the English top flight. Looking at him Kenny McLean and John McGinn at the same stage and he's as good as either were at that age.
I'd say number 3 is Kyle McAllister. He's a bit of an enigma and doesn't have the consistency to start every game, but when he's on form he's something else.0 -
Spot on. In January we might see a couple of players going out and coming in but it'll be nothing like having to move on a dozen players to make way for half a new team.Difference is this season we are going to be terribly hard to beat.
Last season we would have lost both those home games, this year we got 2pts out of 6.
Long hard season ahead definitely, but I dont think we're going to have one of those crazy January windows this year.
I still reckon there's a good chance we can start getting goals. There are no stand out goal scorers but Mullen is capable of bagging a few, Magennis, McAllister are bound to chip in with some. Possibly Cooke too when he's fit again. I'm still hopeful that Morais and Obika can find their shooting boots.1 -
For St. Mirren, I’d rather have Duckens Nazon and Simeon Jackson than Obika and Morais.
Based on what we've seen so far I'd go for that. It's still relatively early to make a real judgement. Neither have been a total disaster, both like to put it about a bit and are giving plenty effort. I still have hope that they can come good.
At the moment I think Mullen has to start though. There's been a difference when he comes on. Where Morais has been giving away cheap fouls Mullen is able to draw fouls. I suppose that just comes from having played more games at this level. I also feel that Mullen has the ability to hit a shot from outside the box and score. Not seen anything from the other two yet to suggest they have that.1 -
Right result. Neither team did enough to win the game. I said the same last week but I think Mullen needs to start. From what I've seen he's our best striker.

Exactly. And to be honest that's forgivable, I was more wondering why Claire Whyte felt the need to state that a yellow was the correct decision. It strikes me as one of those classic moments where the ref knows something has happened but isn't entirely sure what so books someone in the hope that covers him.0 -

Exactly. We've also sat in against teams this season.I don’t want St Mirren to play the Accies shitfest way either. However, it’s a bit rich when you look at our ‘goals for’ tally this season, and the fact that ‘our way’ seems to be slow, laborious, and toothless.0
