  1. I still support the club have bought a few Xmas presents for family from the club shop. Have been to about 80% of the games so far this season and I know I won't stay away for long. But I will definitely not attend over the Xmas period unless this idiot starts picking his best players and stop showing favouritism to someone who is clearly never in a million years good enough for this level. When money is tight I will choose my games carefully and fuel to Dumfries and £20 to watch us play players out of position and lose to Falkirk and Livingston is not really appealing. I think of we lost both and the teams below us pick up points we will act quickly. Hope I'm right as he is useless.
  2. If we start with Mcshane again on Saturday I am not going back under McIntyre. Seems harsh but I can't see why he keeps persisting with him, he is useless and offers nothing. Giving him the responsibility to take corners is enough to get a long term stay in Carstairs, especially when Mitchell is on the park. Kev must really be pleased he did all that running about to gain visa's and work permits and even Slattery is a better option IMO. When young is back and Paton fit surely he will lose his place ?
  3. 4 winners for him again yesterday @ 7/4, 7/1, 2/1 and 5/4 not bad in a lucky 15.
  4. Couple of the people who have relatives missing and presumed inside are becoming a bit restless. Understandable but just got to let the emergency services deal with it in the way they are trained to do so.
  5. Yeah I thought so, not sure how the paper got that information if the poor guy hasn't even been informed. May of changed since yesterday afternoon though. Attaching things to the helicopter to try to move it today, hopefully goes smoothly.
  6. The pilots name is in the paper and all over the news this morning. 51 year old David Trail, papers also saying that John MCGarrigle 59 was killed in the pub.
  7. Was tuned into soccer Saturday and Jeff mentioned that Stranraer Central defender Frank Mckeown was a firefighter at the scene until 8am. Sure he is pretty good at switching off but not sure how he managed it after such an event. As Philpy says above the poor guy has gone through hell but I think he actually has the right attitude now as the chance of an oap surviving that are close to nil. Complete and utter horror story in such a normal occasion.
  8. Deeply shocked by the events over the last 10 hours, when I saw the state of the pub where the helicopter has landed I think everybody knew it was a very serious situation with some fatalities. Let's hope it's not as bad as some above are saying and there are some alive amongst the rubble.
  9. Hahaha wasn't expecting that as I read the first line.
  10. He already had dropped Durnan before his red card, Mark missed the first 4 or 5 games of the season and was reinstated for Airdrie in the ramsdens he actually dropped Holt and moved Higgins to left back during the spell before Durnan was sent off against Raith. Paton has not been terrible IMO, he is a creative player who wants to beat men it is not always going to come off although he has not been playing as well as he would like. Still possesses the ability to make things happen and will chip in with his fair share of goals. Iain Russell is wasted out wide left, he has had more poor games than good ones in that position but has scored and blinkered fans seem to see him as a world beater. We would see a much better Iain Russell through the middle, 4-5-1 IMO is a negative tactic that with the players at our disposal we don't need to play. We have quality in wide areas when these players are on fire,McIntyre has ruined both players confidence with his constant dropping and subbing when not having an outstanding game. Burnsy and McKenna have been massive misses and it has shown in how easily we have been losing the midfield battle. Derek Young has been injured and Mcshane is just not good enough at this level I'm afraid. I like the idea of a midfield central three but it leaves us a little light elsewhere but I quite like the idea of Clark Mitchell. Durnan. Higgins. Holt. Kev McKenna. Burnsy Paton Reilly. Russell Paton would be in a free role and switch flanks, Michael is a key player for us when firing and should not be dismissed as easily by McIntyre.
  11. Had pretty much the same but had £5 on Btts and win/draw Celtic v Aberdeen home win Arsenal v Southampton home win Notts Forest v Burnley draw Fulham v Swansea away win £5 paid £880 and smash Had £3 on barca btts and win Dundee utd btts an win and Everton btts and win. Could of been a very sore one had Granada scored.
  12. Cute that you took time out your Saturday night to visit the big boys forum but please jog on back to the seaside forum.
  13. Please drop Mcshane, a lot of contenders for worst player today but he wins it hands down. Shirked out a 90-10 challenge in his favour that resulted in their winner. Could see it coming as he is an absolute pansy in the tackle but thought surely he will go through the ball and clear it, naw he takes a step back and watches a Raith player nip in and go and score.
  14. Had £10 on btts and Coventry to win, thanks to the defender impersonating superman, fucking numpty. £5 Coventry, St Mirren, Cameroon, and Montenegro. Again thanks to aforementioned fannybaws.
  15. £67 and some smash off £10 on Qos Dunfermline and stenny. Sheff utd buggered a good £5 line for £127 with Stirling, wolves, Qos, Stranraer
  16. He was at fault for two goals against Dundee, two atHearts (piss poor kick out and then a daisy cutter) and the Cowdenbeath debacle. That enough ? Total pish
  17. Signed. Antell is well and truly pish. Heard a rumour up town last night with a little bit of substance, the board have already been in contact with Lee and offered him what they regard as a good offer but he is keeping his options open. We shall see.
  18. £10 on Coventry -1 @21/10. Never in doubt
  19. Someone we play a lot of golf with has been christened the cash cow for obvious reasons. Would be easier for me if he just set up a direct debit.
  20. I take it all the questions asked along with the answers will be posted somewhere after the event ?
  21. Would like to ask if he feels the squad needs strengthened in January to achieve a play off position ? And if so what areas in his opinion need strengthening ?
