Cumbernauld still to play Ekfc & Spartans as part of the run in...aside from losing both league games to Shire the Colts have taken points from Spartans,Ek and Bsc so some difficult games ahead.

Hoping it's just a wee blip and can keep in contention as still very tight at the top...some tough games ahead with both Uni teams to play in the coming weeks.

Last 4 games only picked up 4 points?.just a minor loss of form or have teams got wise to how they play?

What’s happening at BSC?..

Also,no mention of Cumbernauld Colts being a decent outfit who beat top of the league BSC 4-1 at the weekend...they are also a relatively new community club with ambitions...similar numbers in their youth set-up plus various youth/amateur and ladies team. Its not all about the first team as they have a pathway into adult football for all abilities...they may even include a Junior team as part of the structure,who knows.What it does demonstrate is a club with a vision and prepared to move with the times.

Get up to Broadwood and see Colts v BSC...can Colts defeat the league leaders on consecutive weekends?!

Cumbernauld got their tactics bang on today and exposed plenty weaknesses within the BSC ranks...be interesting to see how the game evolves when they play each other again next week at Broadwood.(back to back league games seems??..very strange!)..it does though add an extra edge to the game at Broadwood and pile the pressure onto BSC?!

Here's hoping EKFC can fly the flag for the Lowland league...be a fantastic result to beat the Rovers and make the next round.

Yeah,will depend which Shire team that turns up-the exceptional one that humped EKFC or the mediocre team that for most of the season has struggled to find consistency?

Think Ricky Spanish should read the said article more carefully in future and try to digest its content before consulting those travelling EK fans about the workings of their club. Why would a player consult with the SFA about his contract and then go to the press if he wasn't completely "in the right" about his situation and somewhat frustrated with the unnecessary obstacles EK were putting in his way! Ladeside have now commented however doubt we will hear anything from EK...let you draw your own conclusions!

Thought the SFA would have intervened for previous attempts by EK to sell players??...cant believe this is still going on...maybe just the tip of the iceberg?!

Bizarre to see McBride pushed back to CB against CCs when club has at least 2 other CBSs....could have done with him in midfield rather than the inexperienced lad chosen...he may have been able to unlock the opposition or more of a goal threat?

Didn't see that Scottish Cup defeat coming but tricky away tie and Buckie on their day are a handful...sure BSC would rather still be in the cup but just have to focus on the league which is hotting up as EK maybe starting to get some momentum?

Game of 2 halves-CCs dominated for first 35 mins and didnt make most of their superiority-Shire equalised on 45th minute. Second half was more even until Colts gifted two chances to Shire.

You can only throw it away as sitting in poll position-:)

Great to hear that another team(Gretna)are on the up as the league needs this otherwise the big spending clubs -:) will run away with the league. BSC are now starting to feel the pressure of being top and having to deal with the expectation of always having to win...looking down from the top can be scary -:)

IMO Ekfc have lost some real quality players without being able to find better replacements...this must be a difficult balancing act when players like Brady,Vitoria,McLeish & Lachlan to name but a few have all moved on. Unsure if the club scouting is failing or keeping such a big squad focused is the issue?...still early days in the campaign and maybe the East Stirling result will be the catalyst for improvement,only time will tell, but so far results and performances have been well short of last years.

Only a matter of time before BSC slip up as all these old legs in the team will start to falter!?

Still think BSC will win comfortably against the Welfare albeit their win against Gala was unexpected...does give the game more of a focus but think BSC will be too strong...

Yeah bang on and think unless one of the teams can go on an EKFC run like last year it will be pretty close....there are also some very good teams in the middle of the league who can impact the final league positions.
