Is the HOF game tonight? Might stay up and watch it, I have serious football withdrawals
Aye it is on at 1 am. might stay up just for first half

I really hope that isn't the case, unless we JUST miss out. It's all about 2014 for us, making the playoffs this year would be a great marker for next year.
I am fairly confident we're gonna get 10 wins this year, hopefully it's enough.
I'm not sure I see you getting 10 but if you do i can see that being a division winning score.

Caitlin Moran and others have decided to boycott Twitter on the 4th of August due to the abuse that Caroline Criado-Perez has been subjected to following her campaign to include women on banknotes. They also want Twitter to simplify the way to report abuse - there's a petition for a 'report abuse' button. Twitter aren't keen on this as it would mean an avalanche of reports, meaning that they'll need to find some way to sift through them all.
!!
The abuse (including threats of rape apparently) is vile but I can't help think that a certain section of the 'Twitterati' shouts 'TROLL!' and grabs for their pearls whenever someone takes the piss out of them. Freedom of speech isn't supposed to be pretty. I also find Moran's (who I normally quite like) constant appeals to 'niceness' and 'politeness' to be a bit twee and sinister - it sounds very much like she wants debate to be framed on her own terms and f*ck anyone else.
block,screengrab,report to polis.
i really like owen jones but him ,dent, moran, linehan etc need to get a fekkin grip. self appointed moral guardians and always outraged about something.

Glen pean way. We're camping by A' Chuil bothy.
From my calculations which were all done by eye/hand from an OS map, it's 20km to A' Chuil bothy the first day (we're starting walking at about 12) and then 26km to Inverie.
I've estimated it to be approx 7hrs for the first day and 9 hrs the second day
sounds pretty reasonable. your getting me annoyed now. was only out in knoydart in may bit need to get back soon

No summits, we don't really have the time. Doing it over two nights, spending the night at the bothy at An 'Chuill then heading onto Inverie the following day to get shitfaced in the Old Forge, before getting the boat back to Mallaig the following day.
you shouldnt have any issues in that case and its fantastically remote.im a bit jealous. the forge is a great wee bar too. some of the walking from along the shore of loch nevis is rough but no issues

I was wondering if anyone on here has done the Glenfinnan to Inverie walk before? Spoke to one women who has done it recently. She started out with a group of five, and she was the only one to reach Inverie, resulting in a call to Mountain Rescue. We're doing it next weekend so hoping that it won't end up like that!
have done half of that route when walking into inverie from the arkaig road and glen dessary.stunning country.
are you planning on taking in the summits on the way or is it an a to b walk? over 1 or 2 days?

Both IS games sold out? When did this happen. I had assumed the 9ers game wouldn't and I'd be able to get a ticket in a month or so.
months ago.maybe as far back as feb. would expect a reissue for 49ers game around about sep and steelers vikes anytime soon, when the americans send back their unsold allocation

Played my first round in 3 years yesterday in advance of lads golf outing next week. Hit 108 which reasonably pleased with.a couple of pars in there to match a few 8s.
Only wierd thing is I have taken a chunk of skin off right hand ring finger. Dunnonif im gripping too tight or not tight enough and getting movement and friction between hands.
