Play football on grass twice a week and on astroturf once and my feet feel fine afterwards.
Play 5 aside once a week and its starting to leave me with big blister on my big toes and sole of my foot. Absolute agony and the pain lasts about a week. Tried changing footwear and bandaging up my feet but still getting blisters. Just purchased a pair of a socks that are designed to help prevent blisters. £10 for a single pair of socks!! If this doesn't work my 5 aside days are over.
compeed is your friend. i have announced my 5s retiral as the concrete base under the pitch at soccerworld was killing my joints.how more folk arent injured playing on that shite i dont know

Get junkies Out of Dundee City Centre page is an absolute maelstrom of fail and intolerance. Also, half the folk I know who like it are well partial to a wee pill or line of a weekend and probably cause more bother when pished than any junkie.

I doubt he will be in the Lovat team on Saturday! I am away at the weekend otherwise I would definately go to this. A derby between two teams who have rarely made appearances in senior finals (The Glen making the MacAulay Cup final last year which I think was their first final perhaps since the Camanachd Cup in 1988, and Lovat in a final for the first time since 1977) makes for a great occasion. Nice to get a break from Kingussie/Newtonmore/Fort William too. There should be a really good crowd in for this.
My own feeling is that there isn't too much between these sides. The Glen's league form isn't great but when they get their best team out they are very good. Lovat are very much a team on the up. Lovat have actually done really well in the head to heads recently and won them pretty easily but I would be surprised if either team runs away with it on Saturday. Hopefully it will be another good advert for shinty.
heading up to torridon for a weekend of walking but as saturdays weather looks pish may well take this in instead on the way up.not been to a game for a few yearsand as a skye man i dont get a chance to get to finals

Ahmad Bradshaw signs for the Colts
Could be good signing if stays healthy
good player. colts look like a side on the up again. and my hatred of them has diminished somewhat since the second best manning left.

OK i have had time to chill out now.
Basically BB has a slot for him somewhere in his mind and if it doesnt work out he doesnt make the roster. I'm 100% sure he has not been signed as a backup QB

Also, how does someone get into the fantasy league?

I'm not in the least bit happy about this Tebow chat, he is utter shite.
We are well covered for TE and RB so WTF? Hire a guy as a back up QB when you could probably pick up a better one from the CFL or working on a building site?
The one saving grace is I dont think he will take a single snap and BB is rarely wrong but for the life of me i dont see a scenario where this works out.

Yesterday I planned to go up Mayar and Driesh today with the other half. However, she (conveniently) forgot to set the alarm properly and so we ended up going to Sterling and Bensons for Beds this afternoon instead. Probably walked further around the shops than we would of up any f****** hill.
Its light til back of ten you could have gone after your tea !!

If you can forgive a bit of bamming off two biggies for me in the last few weeks. Completed the TGO cgallenge on 24 May Mallaig to Montrose in 13 days. Have to say its the best thing I have ever done and will definitely be up for another go at it next year.
Last weekend was Munro #100 on Ben Avon (and 101 on Beinn a' Bhuird) which was an epic day out. Whilst i would love to compleat im not so sure I will so that was a satisfying one.
Nothing this weekend as have work stuff to do but Torridon next weekend which is always epic.
Re: the high bivvies - I have found two summer camps at Corrour Bothy and Loch A'an bloody cold sleeping at near 3000ft and that is in relative shelter. I'm well up for a high camp somewhere but a nervous about waking up dead of the cold.

each to their own indeed but personally there are certain things i dont like in the fridge as it inhibits the taste. porters are one but tomatoes and chocolate are others.
a porter in a bar would be cellar temperature rather than chilled. your fridge will he 1-3degrees, room temp is around 20-25 degrees and a porter should be served around 12-16 so whilst i would agree not to have it at room temp i would say a cool dark cupboard or out in the garage.
at the end of the day it is personal tho so apologies if the post came across as arsey, especially from a beer snob who admitted to havng a night on the lemom hooch a few posts back.

Well, i thought the second game was a mistake and would dilute ticket sales so i was wrong about and will probably be wrong abut everything else i write.
I suppose from the league's point of view it makes sense to push this until they break it. If the eventual aim is a UK/London franchise you need to see how many games you can put on and it needs to be more than 2 or 3.
If i was a jags fan i would be seriously peed off about losing 2 of 8 home games, and more than likely games to box office franchises.
I think the touring franchise thing makes a lot of sense but obviously any UK franchise would still need a permanent base for training and offices.
I come from a sporting tradition where your team is your team and that is it. My team is Pats and for whatever spurious reasons i chose them that is it now. I'm not going to support a british team, and certainly not a London team. If aything the coverage they would get would probably make them my #1 hate team. Having said all that i would probably still attend the odd game, especially if playing the Pats or a big franchise. Apart from anything else I have a season ticket for tannadice and thats always going to be the main sport for me. NFL on a sunday night in front of the telly suits me down to the ground and i wonder how many others who regulalrly make the wembley trip are in that boat.
NFLUK seems to be split down the middle between people like me and people who would jump ship or have a second team ( a lot of that lot already have second teams - weirdos).

Rumours are that the Pats are considering pursuing Tim Tebow. Won't be surprised if he signs, he visited in 2011 and Meyer and Belichick talked over Tebow when he was at Florida with Meyer.
belichik has great record of picking up players cut by other teams but c,mon be serious!!

Older Dundonians might remember the Saturday night tele and the 'Friday night out in Dundee' section. Well the tele are bringing it back !! http://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/life/dundee-life
More pubs than the friary or Whitfield Labour Club and nothing horrendous on yet but surely well worth keeping an eye on over the weeks.

Scottish Parliament will be debating Thatcher's legacy today.
Why for fucks sake?
Isn't it time to move on?
theyre not though are they? the debate is on society. given the current thatcherite westminster governments divisive rhetoric of strivers v skivers, public v private sector, immigrants v natives, uk v the eu and human rights its entirely relevant for the scottish parliament to have a debate around these issues.thatchers death has reignited political consciousness for many and it seems sensible to try and capitalise on that.

And therein lies the problem; people are greedy, greedy b*****ds.
Lets assume for arguments sake your statement is true for everyone . Surely thats an argument for putting in controls on the free market and economic liberalism - not an argument to positively encourage such a situation.

In theory you certainly could but Iif the people who control the resources tomorrow are the same people who control the resources today we will back to square 1 before too long. Resources are very real and have real value.

Is there anything stopping the world from being cleared of debt and everything just starting again?
To what end?
