  1. That's a brisk walk is it not? Pretty sure it’s a brisk walk/light jog. I looked into joining and seen people posting on social media saying they failed on the fitness test too….
  2. The entrance fitness test for the Police is hilariously low nowadays. Sure it’s about level 5.4 or run 1.5 miles in 18 minutes for Police Scotland.
  3. Only a few games stand out to me, a 3-0 defeat from Accies in January 2017. Fairly sure we’d signed Billy McKay on loan the day of the game. I was feeling confident, scudded 3-0. Think Greg Tansey missed a penalty and at that point I knew we were doomed if we kept Foran in charge. Never felt more downbeat after a game of football. And a 5-1 battering from Hearts at the start of the same season (I think). Still to this day the only game I’ve ever left early.
  4. Anyone know if the pie huts will be open on Saturday? Or are these not allowed to operate just yet?
  5. Got my ticket sorted for Saturday, first game for me since March 2020 where we played Alloa at the Recs. looking forward to it!
  6. My last ex was like that mate, anytime I corrected her on silly wee things it would cause arguments. Better off without, no amount of cracking rides is worth the hassle IMO Edit: Also Drunk Driver and Racist? Get her in the bin
  7. Bagged another Munro this morning taking my total to 3! Set off for Ben Chonzie this morning at 5:45, picked a mate up en route and on the trail by 7:00. Mate has 0 fitness and was doing his first so struggled at the steep mid section but got there in the end and was rewarded with some cracking views at the top! Not a breath of wind at the top either! Beautiful day for it!
  8. I bought 4 dozen ProV1’s to start the season, got a bulk buy deal from Scottsdale Golf. I use them for a couple rounds then fire them in the practice bag! The joys of not having a wife and kids Had been using Srixon Z-Stars for a couple years and felt they cut up far too easily and became unusable after 1 round.
  9. I had a quick look and biggest name I can spot is Thomas Detry I think, not sure if it’s the finalised draw yet.
  10. Draper played 81 times for County (Going by Soccerbase) in 4 years and 13 times in the league last season. 3 year deal is madness Are Cove fulltime?
  11. Cheers both, left the house at 6 this morning was there for 7:20 and on the trail for 7:30, back in the car for 11:30. Became a pain towards the end with loads of people heading up as I was coming down but a great experience nonetheless. Stupidly didn’t put my waterproof gear on til very late on and had to take some under layers off. Have some pics of my first solo Munro regardless
  12. Brad McKay is not very good at football, his agent is very good at his job however.
  13. I’ve just got into Hillwalking recently, done Dumyat a few times to get into it then done Ben Vorlich at Loch Earn a few weeks back with a mate. I’m off work this week and no ones free to do one with me, would Ben Lomond be easy enough to do on my own?
  14. With some of contracts our previous chairman negotiated it wouldn’t surprise me if they’d forgot to add the clause in
  15. 4 (technically 3 since Mackay is away) of our players selected for Scotland under-21s. First we’ve had since Christie or Polworth I think?
  16. The previous caterer we had at the golf club asked which Council we came under for funding etc. The committee member he asked told him to check the bins and that’d give him his answer. He came back 5 mins later asking what council did Biffa come under….
  17. If Michael Beale has actually applied then that’s a promising sign. Speaking to a few Rangers fans and he seems to be the brains behind the operation down there.
  18. Bitcoin has fell a bit this morning after Elon Musk tweeted this: Most of my Crypto is in Ethereum and it’s remained fairly steady for now
  19. McKay not being offered a new deal has made my day. Think he was on relative buttons anyway but still good to get rid. Vincent has barely been available since coming back so not bothered by him leaving at all
  20. My brother in law treated us to it so I’m not entirely sure mate. It’s some experience though you get given a pouch on the first tee box containing a scorecard, course guide, tees, pencil and ball marker. They have the practice range less than 100 yards from the clubhouse and putting/chipping green is literally just outside the clubhouse
  21. Played Dumbarnie today and honestly if anyone gets the chance I recommend taking it! Absolutely outstanding course and I imagine it’ll only get better. Attached some pics below, had a range of handicaps in our group +1, 2, 13 and 17 we all played off the blue tees and had an absolute ball
  22. Didn’t hold on for the win but won the scratch prize instead which came with a £150 voucher great start to the season!!
  23. Played an absolute blinder today after some mixed scoring the past couple weeks. Shot 69 (-2) scratch and currently sitting first in the competition, absolutely delighted as it’s the first time I’ve broke par and 70! Happy man tonight!
