  1. Didn’t take long for Toshney to find a new job....retired from playing and now the new manager of Downfield Juniors
  2. I wouldn’t worry too much about being ignored, I tend to get a few matches a day and either get ignored or exchange a few messages and it doesn’t go anywhere. A lot of women aren’t on it to meet someone, they’re just on it “for a look”. There’s loads of tips out there on how to make your profile better/more appealing (avoid group pics, have a decent bio etc)
  3. Got any tips/general advice for Monktonhall? Playing it in a few weeks in a 36 hole comp and never played it before
  4. https://ictfc.com/club-statement-12?fbclid=IwAR2LS0xB929FSymDc9AYcg2CrhgCsenyXIQRZO8zQLE-r3xfkvTyivxwA7I Toddy cited after the Raith Match a month ago...
  5. Sure he was on loan at Ayr last season, played and scored against us and *I think* was generally well regarded amongst Ayr fans. Step up might’ve been too much for him
  6. How long til Dan Mackay and Allardice are tempted over the bridge by Uncle Roy?
  7. Price varies for lessons quite dramatically, since I started playing again in 2017 I’ve had lessons with 5/6 different pros and I’ve finally found one I get on with and I’m seeing good results with. I’ve paid as little as £20 for a half hour lesson to as much as £60 for an hour. Try a few different coaches or speak to a couple of the lower handicaps at your club (if you’re a member) and see who they go to. At my club about three quarters of the summer league team all go to the same pro for lessons.
  8. Philip Roberts anyone? He last played for Chelmsford City and seems to be without a club now
  9. I think the Daily Record headline back in 2019(?) made it sound a whole lot worse than what it actually was and from then everyone has just assumed we’ve no money. Was thinking last night about who our best ever loan signing has been? I struggled to think of many good loan signings we’ve had. My initial thoughts were Doran and Storey who done well in his loan spell with us. We had Charlie Taylor who’s now at Burnley on loan for the 2nd half of 2012/2013 I think. Any one that I’ve completely forgot about?
  10. As RiG says he was on the bench vs Alloa on 6th March so I’m inclined to go with the latter conclusion
  11. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56499950 SFA’s “investigating” some of Davidson’s robust language used during the game.
  12. Quite an interesting way to structure it, Cowen obviously believes in his own abilities to get the best out of players. I wonder who the Ryder Cupper he refuses to take back is?
  13. I think I remember the Falkirk one was direct from a corner? Seemed to have erased most of his performances from my mind if I’m honest. Wonder what the club are doing about contract extensions, if Robbos coming back as they say then I wouldn’t suspect McCann would have any say in this. Usually around this sort of time is when we try and get players tied up for the next season
  14. I’ve seen him play a few times and remember he was a bit dodgy at cross balls etc. If I’m honest I wouldn’t be devastated if he left but I think there’s worse keepers out there. I thought the club must’ve seen something in him as we gave Mackay the nod over Hoban (who’s backup at Forfar now) last summer. My only worry is our obsession with signing ex Hearts players continues and we end up with an ex Hearts youth as our backup
  15. I think I agree with all of this, apart from Cammy Mackay. Probably not on much and we could have worse backup options. We’ve stuck by Doran through some pretty rough periods of injury but I’d imagine he’ll still be on a good wage and possibly one of our higher earners. I think if Robbos back making the decisions for next year, a lot of these players might get 1 year deals again
  16. Is there a list of contract expiry dates for the squad? Mchattie, Brad McKay and Toshney should all be emptied at the earliest opportunity. Mchattie and Toshney because they’re permanently injured and McKay because he’s just not very good
  17. My ex used to go through ridiculous amounts, she’d stay over here and there’d be less than half of a full toilet roll left after a new one had been put on the holder and she’d only have been here for about 12 hours. Just dumped her instead of having the awkward conversation
  18. I always forget how young Mackay is after he made his debut when he was 16. Hopefully he can kick on this season and stay injury free
  19. Looking to try a few Munro’s this year when the weather improves/restrictions are eased, looking to get a decent pair of walking boots before I attempt any. Any shops/brands to avoid? What sort of price am I looking at for a decent pair?
  20. Depends on a lot of factors I got a fitted set (Driver, Woods, Irons) in July 2017 then upgraded my Driver & 3 wood in November 2019 because they weren’t right for me anymore. Got new irons last year because my old irons were game improvement irons and my new ones are more players irons (but not quite blades!). I have Graphite for Driver, 3 wood and my 3 iron everything else is steel shafted but if the fitter gave me graphite everything I wouldn’t say no. If you’re on a budget I’d recommend GolfClubs4Cash through in Edinburgh, can get some real good gear only a few seasons old and in pretty good nick!
  21. Is it a Neil McCann thing to not use any subs?
