  1. Emdy gone to see Dylan these past couple of nights? If so was he any good? More importantly what time did it start?
  2. You'll have a great time! Fantastic live. You certainly will, plus the fact it's a Friday night and it's the Barras. It's gaunnae be fuggin' magic.
  3. 9.30 they go on sale and I’ve a meeting to attend round about then. Just have to make my excuses for being late. On the plus side, managed to get one for Edinburgh so there’s that if all else fails.
  4. Bollocks, got caught up in a meeting a work. Looks like the pre-sale are sold out. f**k it just need to get in quick on Friday. Failing that, pay over the odds to a tout. Don't normally but this is the fúcking Manics we're talking about.
  5. I was at the PG gig & the sound was fine. Dunno what happened last night and yes, it was a distraction. That aside, though, thoroughly enjoyed it. I did actually expect Just Can't Get Enough; it's about the only staple from the Vince Clarke days. Walking in My Shoes was a particular highlight as well as Personal Jesus, Enjoy the Silence, I Feel You & Black Celebration. As for Dave, I reckon he just wants to be left alone every now & then to shag himself.
  6. Depeche Mode last night were absolutely immense. Outstanding gig. Dunno about the new venue though; I’d say an arena where you’re hearing what comes from the stage bounce from the back wall and echo behind you fuzzing up what you’re hearing from the stage is not one with good acoustics, no matter how clear the sound may be.
  7. Peter Gabriel at They Hydro tonight. 25th anniversary of the tour for So. I saw that tour at the time back in 1987, which is 26 years ago. Still, really looking forward to this one as he's magic in concert. Plus, first visit to the new venue.
  8. Did Maol Cheinn Dearg up near Loch Carron a week past on Saturday. Glorious weather for the most part but clouded over as we reached the summt. Good old time but the midgie bites are REALLY kicking in now.
  9. Two fantastic gigs. Both well worth the money and good value as both were over two hours long. However, there was an inordinate amount of utterly drunk punters at both gigs. What is it about Scotland that some folk can't "enjoy" some entertainment that they have to get to a stage where they can't remember what day it is? ETA:- Have to say, though, they weren't spoiled for me; it was just something that got me wondering.
  10. YYEEEHHAAA!!!! Was dancing around the kitchen at lunchtime after I opened the envelope then stuck on Wrecking Ball so that folk on the rigs could hear it from Bridge of Don. TWO WEEKS TODAY!!!!!
  11. Not yet. Got my booking details to hand just in case but nice to know I'm not the only one concerned about this.
  12. Rush at the Exhibition Centre last night were fúcking ace! One of the best times I've seen them.
  13. Echo & the Bunnymen and James on Saturday night. There are worse ways to spend forty quid.
