  1. I thought it ridiculous especially when reading that someone else appears to be in the same boat. I sent a picture of the ticket (the original refund message on the site says ticket didn't arrive) and a picture I took in Amsterdam but still nothing they can do apparently I wonder if they have a count of people caught up in this I'm on 13 points so it's not the end of the world but still annoying.
  2. Don't know if you got anywhere with this but I just checked and had the same thing happen to me. I got in touch with SFA and apparently the ticket wasn't registered as scanned in the data provided by the Dutch FA. I replied with pictures of me there and is nothing they can do apparently!
  3. This. I'm surprised more hasn't been made on just how much better Doolan looked having Erskine behind him. Although he isn't 2013 Erskine he is still the most dangerous player in our squad and it really annoys me how little game time Caldwell had given him
  4. Came out of Firhill pretty down after that unfortunately Storer's goal was perhaps the best I've ever seen at Firhill but apart from that, and his ludicrous control on the touchline, I thought he gave away possession a lot, let people float by him easily and lunged into some stupid tackles. I thought Slater strolled the first half and looked an improvement on what we had last year but completely fell away in the second. Gordon was practically annonymous. O'Ware was decent but prone to some unnecessary long balls to noone. McGinty however really worried me; looked slow and useless with the ball at the feet Still early days and a win's and win.
  5. Jack Storer, the ex Birmingham striker, is between the two black guys
  6. We are going away in Spring to. Unfortunately one of the party of four is a teacher and so we are limited to the two week Easter holiday and the flight prices that results in We've had a look round and think one of the below would be best. El Classico and Schalke v Dortmund would be the best but I have no idea how eaay/cheap you could get tickets for; anyone gone to either and able to recommend? I'm keen on Rome derby but I was there last year for Roma v Inter. The rest all look good in their own way and would be easy enough to get tickets for Spring Break I (2nd /3rd April) Dortmund v Bremen Juve v Empoli Fiorentina v Sampdoria Lazio v Roma Sevilla v Sociedad Barcelona v Real Madrid PSG v Nice Spring Break II (9th/10th April) Valencia v Sevilla Schalke v Dortmund Hertha Berlin v Augsburg AC Milan v Juventus Marseille v Bordeaux
  7. I see the gossip column has us linked with Anier again. Is he actually all that bad or is it just a case of not settling in Dundee? I get him and Ojamma mixed up at Well but I'm sure I recall him being pretty good at them
  8. Mandron turned us down according to your man Nixon on Twitter.
  9. Pogba signs. One year deal, with an option for another He's number 99 I have a Sunderland supporting friend and he thought Mandron would have been pushing for a place in the first team this year so I guess that's encouraging enough. Would be surprised if we got him though, surely now a creative attacking midfielder is more important?
  10. Seen him a few times and I can't work out what type of player he is. Thought he was ok yesterday but didn't see very much of the ball. Certainly worked hard McDaid was similar in that regard and I was very impressed with his discipline and tracking back; never seen him have to play that way before
  11. A worrying amount of people on Twitter have him coming to us.
  12. Ex Celtic youth player now at Birmingham. Meant to be going on loan to Morton
  13. WAT has been in a, not untypical, meltdown these last few days. I think I've seen, in order of insanity, Denny Johnstone, Declan McManus, Billy McKay, Islam Feruz, Jack Harper and now Erskine being mooted with a lot of 'sworn to secrecy' type rumour starters fuelling the flames. Anyway Id love Erskine to come back as he's up there without favourite ever Thistle players.
  14. There's also a EU4 to Vic2 converter so you could in theory go from 769 to 1936 Been off this week and started up an EU4 save as Venice yesterday. Naval superiority v the Ottomans and blocking the Straits from Asia to Europe meaning they have to sit across watching Constantinople and their European possessions fall without ever having a battle is very satisfying.
  15. Anyone ever been to a Lisbon derby or any game at Benfica? Me and a friend are planning our yearly trip abroad and the derby in October is currently our preferred option. Other options are Marseille v Lyon/Monaco, Atletico v Valencia or an Italian game, although done Roma v Inter last year.
  16. Wonderfully fun game. I've not got round to playing the latest DLC Horse Lords yet but will fire up pretty soon I imagine. I have the other DLCs and all add a lot of flavour and fun apart from the Aztec Invasion one, I really dislike that. In my last game I started out using the Charlemagne DLC as a Norse viking in some Swedish county before eventually having my dynasty form a Reformed Norse Merchant Republic that ruled the Empire of Scandinavia and the Baltics and kicked the arse of a few Catholic Crusades called against me. A lot plotting was done against the Karling Dynasty that spawned off Charlemagne and ruled pretty much all of Europe. At the start I was much like you and messed around in Ireland to get the hang of it. It can be a bit dull over there compared to mainland Europe but keep at it and once you pick up some of the nuances of the game it can be a thoroughly entertaining game. The Wiki is a very good resource and has a pretty cool Interesting Characters Guide which is good for some inspiration http://www.ckiiwiki.com/Interesting_characters_guide I would recommend a game in the standard start as Duchess Matilda of Tuscany and go about forming the Kingdom of Italy, had great fun doing that. Also saves in Spain to try and push Islam out of the penninsula are rather challenging and interesting. I'm playing a lot more of another Paradox game, Europa Universalis 4, right now which is set from around the end of the CK2 timeline up to 1821 and plays more like a Total War type grand strategy where you are the omnipresent ruler of a nation rather than an individual character or dynasty. Both games are superb in their own way, as are the other Paradox strategies I have played; Victoria II which goes from the end of EU4 to 1930s and is much more about economy and politics and Hearts of Iron which is a WW2 military strategy that has a reduced scope than others but a ludicrous amount of detail for the period. A new HoI should be out this year which looks a lot more user friendly. Arumba is a good watch for CK2 and EU4 https://www.youtube.com/user/arumba07
  17. I wonder if I can get a refund on this year's membership of the Doolan Fan Club
  18. His passion has converted me. Get rid of Doolan and we can progress as a club.
  19. 3-0 win at home to St Johnstone 1-0 win at home to Caley no?
  20. Hendry, Welsh and Lawless were the main positives for me. Hopefully Welsh going off was nothing to do with going down in first half. Getting him back would be such a boost. Also in hendry and Lindsay I think we have potentially two very talented centre backs. Of the other youngsters to come on I thought Leyden looked to have something about him but probably not ready for first team yet. Not impressed by Amoo the two times I've seen him but hopefully he picks up when real stuff starts. Certainly rapid but didn't look to get involved enough. A Carlisle supporting mate was with me and claimed at one point he's as rubbish as he remembers which is a bit concerning I guess.
