First FIFA I have played and actually still enjoying it. They could have introduced these new SBCs a couple of months ago and it might have kept interest among more people for longer. Very happy with my team having not spent a penny on it all year. Will probably keep playing weekend league until the new one comes out as always have decent games.

I know the game is pretty much done and this doesn't matter all that much...but, did a second prime icon pack and got this:

17 wins for the first time this weekend. Was sitting 14-13 and got in from a day out with 1h 20 mins left, first game won on penalties, 45 minutes left and two rage quits [emoji16]. What is the difference between gold 2 and 3 for player picks?

Between travelling to very hilly places and having a shitty cold, I did my first 5k in about 3 weeks today. Absolutely terrible, just about made it in 26:30 but had to stop a couple of times. I was doing 10k in 50m and was easily doing 18k just before that - it's mental how quickly conditioning can disappear.

I played a game of Rivals last night, the guy messaged me asking to let him score 3 goals and he would give me the win. Gave him his goals and he then kept playing... First time anything like that has happened to me...made me far more angry than it should have.

Got Laudrup - what a waste of time.

Got Kimmich from Ultimate SBC, disappointing as doesn't fit my team at all. Didn't spend any coins though so worth a shot. Selling almost all of my tradeable rare golds for massive prices so saving some coins up - get max for 83, 84 and 85s.

Unravel 2 is £6 right now. It's a lovely little game so far, enjoying playing it with my 8 year old.

I got Orsic and Immobile - both don't fit with my team but will be good fodder. Packs were laughably bad, 6 mega packs and the best was Jorginho...got gold Ramos from my Rare Players pack but still pretty underwhelming.

Not sure. Heading off on a road trip round NSW tomorrow but taking my PS...I seem to be in the minority here but I am still really enjoying FIFA - maybe because this is my first year playing it.

Somehow I have won 6 in a row and am now at 14-9. Never had more than 14 before so going to push for 17.

Pretty much what I do except maybe 2-3 power bars and then hit the shoot button again when he kicks it (no idea if this makes any difference).

I reckon with Koeman I was scoring 2 out of ever 3 within 25 yards. He's gone now and my scoring rate has drastically fallen, Alonso and Benzema still get a few though.

Sitting at 3-3 after 3-1. Have played 3 x 93 and 3 x 92 squads so far. First time I have ever used Messi and he has been great so far but can't compete with some of the teams I have played. Gameplay has been alright, no real lag. Will give it a break for tonight now (in Australia) and try and again tomorrow. Would be delighted with 14 again.

Have never seen him so cheap.

How is Umtiti? I picked him from the objectives but haven't tried him yet.

Been trying out Gabriel to see if he can replace VVD in defence. I have 91 VVD tradeable and he is worth about 340k right now. Gabriel been ok so far so will try him out this weekend. Also got Carles Gil coming on as a sub CAM and he has been excellent so far - worth picking from the MLS SBC picks.

I replied then went back to read the entire Twitter thread. it didn't read as "ranting" to me - just having a conversation with Kyle about his thoughts regarding when we offer contracts at Saints.

What's the verdict on these:

I am up in Div 7 for the first time and it is significantly easier than Div 10 so far. I find that in the weekend league as well, easier matchups than I was getting in Divs 9&10.

Not convinced he'll be a massive loss. Good enough to watch and I'd probably have preferred him to stay but in terms of actual productivity he wasn't all that. More maligned players have given us more in the period he's been at Saints. I think I agree with this! Since he came back from injury I thought he flattered to deceive, his crossing was often brutal but he always put in a good shift and would have been useful for next year. Saints offered him a reduced deal a while back which he turned down, they have probably reduced it even further in the current climate and I can understand why he has turned it down. But, I can also understand the reasoning from Saints (at this time, not when it was supposedly first offered).

I finished on 14 wins with two games left. Was always slightly ahead of the count but I got the fear when I dropped from 12-9 to 13-14. It seems like I am on my own here but I really enjoyed it this weekend - pretty much every game was close (I got beaten 1-7 and 0-8 last week after winning 5 in a row!) and only the very last guy celebrated, watched replays etc. That was glorious as I was 2-1 down with 8 minutes left even though I had been battering him, 2 goals with the last in 93 minutes...I may have let that one run through to kick off! There are too many people on 1, drop back but I felt my team was much better this weekend. Militao is a monster, can't believe I doubted him and Veron and Blanc protect my defence so well. Just looking for a supersub to bring on either wing - might look at Rafa or maybe complete Pedro from the objectives.

Another one I have been enjoying for a while now is Wrestle Me. I used to love the wrestling back in the day and this is two guys going through every Wrestlemania from the beginning. Loads of catch up on if you are interested. Pete Donaldson from Football Ramble is on it with a guy called Marc Haynes (he is very knowledgeable about it all) - frequently hilarious, especially all the reveals about how messed up the whole industry was/is.

Enjoying Slow Burn right now. First series is about Nixon and Watergate, second is Clinton and Lewinsky. The one I am on is Biggie and Tupac - have heard most of the stories before but it's still really well put together.
