  1. A million quid? Seriously? For some goalposts and some turf?
  2. Maybe Dean didn't see the second Hampden riot. Might have blind-sided him.
  3. Any of you guys watch your U17's and can let us know what type of football they play? Couldn't take another season of hoofball.
  4. Congratulations Hibs. Don't care about any of the other shit but with my mate down the shore who is delirious. Will be out celebrating with him the rest of the night.
  5. Team that scored first has won the last 11 finals according to sky sports commentary. Did Falkirk not score first last year?
  6. Minimum wage applies to anyone regardless of age. It's set higher as you get older though. If someone was on £200 p/w this wouldn't necessarily be illegal depending on how many contracted hours they work which for a footballer would be less than a typical 40 hour week I'd guess. For £200 p/w an under 18 with a minimum wage of £3.87p/h would be able to work 51.6 hours An under 21 with a minimum wage of £5.30 would be able to work 37.7 hours For an under 25 with a minimum wage of £6.70 it would be 29.8 hours For an over 25 on £7.85 it would be 25.4 hours I don't know how many actual hours a footballer is contracted to work but I suspect that even on £200 p/w only an over 25 would be pushing it. By the time you add in appearance money, win bonuses and any other add-ons its actually not beyond possible they could be on £200 p/w and surely £250 p/w wouldn't be breaking the rules even for an over 25.
  7. Townie fans have been excitable about Spence for a while. Johnston was watching him on Wednesday. They haven't been able to make an offer worth his while despite all the money they think they have. Wish they would break the bank to sign him as he's simply not good enough for the champinship.
  8. Maybe they offered a fiver a week. Surely they could find that.
  9. There's financial stipulations around playing in Europe though. No idea if Rangers will pass the test as I can't remember what they are.
  10. Good point. Greedy b*****ds are limiting the chances of day-trippers getting tickets. Cup final should be about the day-trippers, not the clubs supporters.
  11. Think its 5 points a game but not all cup games count. Never figured out which ones do and don't.Think it was about 95 points to get early tickets for the league cup final but that was never going to sell out.
  12. Whats the chances of getting tickets for this with about 25 loyalty points?
  13. How is that contempt of court?I'm guessing you have no legal expertise at all and are spouting pish you've seen on the TV.
  14. Been sorted out with tickets for the Johnstones Paint final at wembley. Heading along as I haven't been to the new Wembley before. I actually have no idea who's playing though.
  15. He is a glakit looking c**t, especially when he's lining up a kick.
  16. Agree, especially when the ref can ask to specifically check the grounding if he isn't sure.
  17. Even though i don't think it would have been physically possible to stop him grounding it they couldn't award it. When the ref asks the question "try yes or no?" The tmo has to see evidence of the grounding. The cameras showed none.
