  1. 3 of the goals came when we were down to 10 men. We were always losing the game and played shite but it's a long season ahead.
  2. Me. Once Hemmings and Greg have played a few games together again watch them go.
  3. Generally in any sponsorship deal there's a clause allowing the sponsor to end the association if they feel the other party is bringing their name into disrepute or is associated with something that can bring their name into disrepute. If there is such a clause it could easily be triggered by Livi being such a basket case of a club and all the negative press associated with that. If they have paid all the cash up front good luck trying to get it back though. Add them to the long list of creditors when Livi get wound up. More importantly who's going to pay for the new strips that will have to be rushed through by Saturday, and then another batch if anyone else is certifiable enough to associate themselves with Livi?
  4. You had a shocker of a season against us right enough. Dropped a whole 2 points. It was in actual fact your best season against us since we got promotion. On the other hand we took 6 points from Queens. No idea how you got on against Dumbo and Livi but you're clutching at straws including us in this.
  5. If Talbot's in the same postcode as you no wonder you find an extra gear in the afterburners.
  6. Very good, but all completely irrelevant. If you're supposed to pay him 2k a month you should have cut 2k a month from elsewhere, most likely the playing budget. There would be no comments on this forum if you had simply because it wouldn't be in the public domain. If you were paying your debts no-one would have reason to go public about it so there would be no story. Livingston can win. Stop spending money on players you can't afford and therefore increasing your already huge debts compared to your income.
  7. Feel free to provide evidence of this liquidation. It's completely different to my reasoning (and also a false statement but keep deflecting). New financial irregularities are being unearthed at Livi constantly it seems and none of the stream of owners seem to be learning from it. It's a merry-go-round. Other clubs like Hearts etc. that have had financial difficulties look to have learned from their mistakes. The only clubs that even come close to Livi's constant financial mess are Rangers and Dundee. How many chances do you think Livi should be allowed?
  8. We live within our means and don't have debts but feel free to post any evidence of your assertions that all clubs have debts.
  9. Thats not really correct is it. LFC (Massone) started the crisis by breaching SFL rules on insolvency. The punishment was to put the club into division 3 which allowed them the chance to sufvive rather than throwing you straight out of the league as they could, and judging by subsequent events maybe should have done. That the club then had to honour its existing contracts is your own problem and could be construed as part of the punishment. I'm sure it was probably discussed as part of the decision making process. You need to get your head out of the sand as do the current owners. Seems as soon as someone takes over at Livi they think debts don't have to be repaid. Wouldn't surprise me if Gordon Brown is the next chairman.
  10. League cup is certainly no trialists. Was thinking only diddy teams could play trialists in the petrofac. Could be wrong though. Rules keep changing.
  11. Didn't think championship clubs could play trialists in any competitive game. Think that rule started last season with the SPFL.
  12. Only Talbot could get himself sent off in a friendly. Look forward to a procession of red cards and suspensions this season lads.
  13. This has to be the funniest post of the season. In fact ever.
  14. Alternatively having a good keeper saved you from relegation. You really notice good keepers when the rest of the team is pish because they get lots of opportunity to shine. There were games we won last season where our keeper was man of the match. Dread to think how few points we'd have picked up without Thomson in goal. How many times did Scully significantly contribute to a result last season? Thats points you might not pick up this season.
  15. Mcbookie has you 7-2 and us 4-1. Best prices i can see are 4-1 you and 5-1 us. Can't find a bookie that doesn't have you favourite. News can't have filtered through yet about your new keeper. Unlucky.
