  2. McKenna for the Scotland under 19 team now! https://queensparkfc.co.uk/callan-mckenna-scotland-under-19s/?fbclid=IwAR3ASB4DH4YewHhxbL6kO6Vp5A8DdWDCkQwlppaT5xye0THL9ObA6GTJlyU Another big step for the lad!
  3. Growing up in Govanhill in the 60s and 70s, the received wisdom was that Queen's Park FC started above the Victoria Bar on Vicky Rd. In those days we knew that Eglinton Terrace was on Victoria Road between Allison St and Prince Edward Street. Street numbers generally started towards the town centre and increased in number from there. What was not considered was - 1) Terraces were generally the whole terrace (including round corners), and 2) In 1867 Govanhill was not yet part of Glasgow. So in later years, when the Terrace was renamed, the old numbering system was lost. The new research and findings undoubtably give the accurate location of the original meeting. Brilliant work!
  4. Not sure how this one will go tbh. After Doolan came in Partick did great towards the end of last season but couldn't quite get over the finish line. They've lost a couple of good players since then and results haven't been brilliant so far. For me, QP are still a team in transition and I'm not sure how our young team will stand up to the rigours of the full Championship season. Top half is what I want. In all honesty, I expect the Jags to be there too. Time will tell. One all draw I think which would be good for Queen's but disappointing for Thistle.

  6. Section C wasn't listed when I went to get a ticket - just poor seats in A and B. I remember the good old days when supporters would switch ends at almost every ground. Never any bother except for the odd bunch of silly wee boys that some teams seem to attract. Arbroath was always a great ground to visit - one of my favourite away days.
  7. Dunno - I went to the "Away Tickets" tab on the site and looked at what was available.
  8. I wasn't suggesting Lesser Hampden was any better. I was saying I wasn't prepared to do a 300 mile drive to sit at the front of the stand. I have been to Gayfield many times before.
  9. I decided not to bother as the only tickets available were in row 1 or 2 in Section B - not worth a 300 mile round trip. Section C was not available.
  10. Saw on the Arbroath thread that they were going to target "the 16 year old keeper". Probably not a good idea.
  11. Good away win. Was hoping for more goals but, today, it was a win that mattered.
  12. Is that the same route that the 11:41 from Queen Street takes?
  13. - brilliant links in support of your argument. OK back to reality, Can you back up your statements with some facts/evidence?
  14. yeah, that's right. "unethical" Can you back up your statement with some facts/evidence?
  15. I reckon it will be the same as the December games. The SFA would probably charge us more for the tea room, soft seats, smiling stewards, hot bovril, etc.
