I genuinely believe he's had almost no tactical coaching in his career, until he broke through. You see a lot of winger with sublime physical attributes who don't get taught anything. O'Halloran came to us with absolutely no idea where to be on the pitch, or where to go when he had the ball, and it took years to mould him, Burke seems similar.
It can't be helping that every club has him playing a different role too. Forest had him as a winger, Leipzig tried to make him a central player, and West Brom are using a weird asymmetrical system where the right winger is also a central midfielder.
To me, he always just looks confused unless he's being told to attack a full back, that's down to how he's been coached.
