  1. As I say, he seems to be one of those players who only performs for certain managers. He got 11 in the second tier, then 11 in the top flight, for Neilson and Hearts.
  2. Based on how he done for Hearts. He very much seems a lazy c**t who'll only play well for certain managers.
  3. You better hope it stays that way. United apparently using his wage to get Osman Sow, who should destroy that division.
  4. Who in the other direction? Scougall was what Id seen, but it's maybe just guesswork.

You c***s on about Icons while I'm struggling away to afford a basic Perisic card. Every year I stop playing for months and end up miles behind everyone else, and yet I never learn.
  6. If they stuck him on a wing, told him to attack, and gave him no defensive responsibilities, he'd obliterate this league.
  7. I genuinely believe he's had almost no tactical coaching in his career, until he broke through. You see a lot of winger with sublime physical attributes who don't get taught anything. O'Halloran came to us with absolutely no idea where to be on the pitch, or where to go when he had the ball, and it took years to mould him, Burke seems similar. It can't be helping that every club has him playing a different role too. Forest had him as a winger, Leipzig tried to make him a central player, and West Brom are using a weird asymmetrical system where the right winger is also a central midfielder. To me, he always just looks confused unless he's being told to attack a full back, that's down to how he's been coached. Before anyone says it's, I'm not claiming to be a better coach or know more than folk at those clubs.
  8. I'm not sure that's fair. By the sounds of things he got very little coaching early on, instead coaches just hurled him onto the wing and told him to run past folk. He's got years of catching up to do, and you'd imagine the coaching ideals at Leipzig vary wildly from Nottingham Forest and West Brom. He needs to be at a club for 3/4 years, with quality coaching, to reach the potential he has, but I can't see any club having that patience if they're spending millions on him. Wouldn't surprise me if he suddenly improves as he reaches 30.
  9. His injury record, compared to the wages he's on, probably makes him quite high risk in terms of how much output you'll actually get over the rest of the season.

Cheers, he does sound perfect for how I play. I'm sure I've seen a CF card floating about, might be totally wrong though, or maybe thinking about 18.
  11. See you lot he signed Conor Shaughnessy on loan. Should be a good signing that, albeit he is the shite brother.
  12. That would be an absolutely bizarre signing. Whenever Iread Falkirks thread (meltdowns galore) he was being roundly hounded as being shite.
  13. McCormack is clearly class, but there's a reason he's been in Australia and is now linked with you lot. I'd be very wary about spending a fair whack of money on someone who seems to have a habit of just deciding he doesn't fancy it one day.
  14. You think playing for Warnock would be a good thing?

Ive got Callejon on the other wing, who's amazing for me, so if he's similar that'll do. I hate players with almost no strength though, only have them if they're obscenely quick/evasive.

@forameus how do Perisic play? I need a left winger but having to grind my way through coins so can't really be arsed getting anyone over 30k. He seems my best bet I think, got Gomez there at the moment but he's better behind the striker.
  17. Woods pretty much done exactly that Saturday past. Matty Kennedy consistently just ran past him without a single tackle being put in, then randomly when Kennedy was standing still with the ball Woods just swung a foot and caught him on the knees. Baffling. He also let his man just walk away from him at a corner for the second. I've no idea why he's still in the top flight.
  18. Clarks distribution isn't that great, the amount of times he smashes a kick straight out the park is frustrating.
  19. Clark would be harder to replace, in January, I reckon. Also..
  20. Paul Lambert was on SSN a few days ago claiming he earns more than the entire Ipswich team. You dream on though.
  21. A partnership that's still going strong with Dumbarton, although I believe Carswell has lately been playing in defence.
