  1. Sadford is pretty negative tbf. Wright's going to be great, I can feel it.
  2. His injuries ruined him tbf, never had any run of games, don't think Wright has that issue.
  3. Always worth going back a few months to look at fans perception of players, instead of after he's just left their club..
  4. Absolutely no idea about him. Positive we've made a move so early though, as that generally bodes well for TW signings. 23yo old who's spent his whole career at one club. TW still be criticised for signing "ageing journeymen"
  5. I'd take the other one ahead of Miller tbh, I'd take Denny Johnstone ahead of Miller.
  6. I think Parker got 13.. Phillip Scott apparently has five, he scored a shit load in the promotion season.
  7. His wife goes to the media and leaks stories about the dressing room that Miller tells her, while also slagging managers and other players over Twitter. He comes with a lot of baggage. 2000/01, he'd scored ten goals by the end of December. Think he only bagged one top flight goal in the next 18 months
  8. He's almost forty and if he didn't start every week his wife would be bitching to the press about how mistreated he is
  9. That would be a totally underwhelming signing. TW probably wants an experienced striker though, which gives me the fear, would be a massive backwards step though.
  10. Apparently the majority of the league are after Schalk. It'll be a straight out vulture scrap over Countys out of contract players now.
  11. Harry Curran scored 28. Roddy Grant 19, Nathan Lowndes 14. http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/news/post/2519
  12. Hall got 114 goals, Rodger 116, and Brogan 140. That's in all competitions though so you could work backwards off that. Did Hall not solely play top flight football for Saints?
  13. George O'Boyle and Chris Kane are in double figures I'm sure, maybe Graham Cummins too
  14. Dundee signing 30yo journeymen while we sign players in their mid-20s. Strange world.
  15. Best news of the Summer so far. Is TW refusing to name the signed winger a hint they've not finished playing for their current club yet?
  16. Dundee fans were talking about Saints so I joined in. Tried to put some facts forward from a Saints perspective. Nothing more, nothing less
  17. No doubt. Sort of looking forward to it for the inevitable doom mongering that'll swamp our threads from all corners after it
  18. Theres literally nothing I can say that'll take you away from this "bubbles burst" narrative you absolutely slaver over every Summer, so all we're doing here is taking up space on a Dundee thread. I await you being all over the Saints thread when we sign some huddy from the tier below this week.
  19. We've got another signing to come in, and could move to a single striker again. We started the season with MacLean and Cummins as our senior strikers, we'll start next season with McMillan and Kane, and hopefully one more. We've changed formation, so we need less midfielders. We started this season with a midfield five, next season it'll be three, as we now use wing backs instead of full backs and wingers. Again though, we're expected to sign a couple of wingers, which is where Wotherspoon was played the majority of his time. Millar has no impact on our results, most goals conceded are ones he wouldn't stop, and he scored about one goal in six years. TW has said he's after another senior keeper. Absolutely no idea who that'll be. Squad isn't weaker, it's just pure conjecture to say that is. We're taking out declining players and replacing them. It's an evolution. Of the 14 players who featured against Motherwell, 8 were 25 or younger, and only one player out the 14 won't be here next season if we can retain two loanees. Is that the signs of an ageing squad that's about to be ripped apart?
  20. Love this shit, arms flailing, dodgy tackles and surrounding the ref every time there's a throw in. Glorious shitebaggery. Clear read for Sergi Roberto, Bale should also have been off though.
  21. Clark replaces Mannus. McMillan is MacLeans replacement. No idea how he'll go, but bear in mind MacLean only has about nine goals this season. McMillan and Kane should beat that between them. As Tam mentioned, he was deadly for Dundalk and gave Motherwells defence the runaround in the half hour or so he played on Saturday. We're also after another striker, a couple of wingers, and a cm. Theres an argument we can replace Millar with Wotherspoon aswell. He ran the show against Motherwell from that position.
  22. Folk have been saying this ever since we lost Sandaza
  23. The wage budgets going up, and we've already replaced two of three players who'll be leaving. There's no arrogance in stating plain facts.
