Doubt it would be overly expensive with the age of car, and it's pretty common on Nissans. Whens your MOT due? If the price of a sump is cheap enough, you could ask them to check it out at the same time, and get a quote for all the work. Just what I would do, tbh, if it all comes back over a certain amount and needs done fairly quickly then I'd start looking at different options.

If you're only doing two miles a day, DO NOT GET A MODERN DIESEL. You'll find in a year or so you'll face a fucking huge bill as your DPF clogs up as it's never been regenerated. Most new petrols mpg isn't exactly far off diesels anyway.

I dunno. I'll be slated for being harsh but id be more comfortable with Scobbie starting thirty matches than Tanser/Gilchrist/Gordon, same with Watson and Comrie. If Millar continues getting frozen out then Kyle Mclean is out fourth choice CM, which is weaker than before. Last season we started with a low in confidence Cummins and Kane, now we've got a zero confidence Cummins and Johnstone. Wide areas is the only area I'd argue we're stronger. Not arguing with the logic of the transfers at all, fwiw, we need to gamble on youth more, but we're definitely weaker, depth wise, to me.

In my opinion the quality is of the starting eleven is better, strength in depth is worse. For the first time in a while, the loss of a few players to injury/suspension could seriously derail us. As the Unofficial Twitter said, we'll be reliant on younger players this year, we need to hope they can step up when needed.

Any idea why it's not a move to Morton that's happening? Seems the perfect move where he'd get the first team football we all want him having, and it's at a club he hold close. They look like they need a proper central midfielder capable of recycling possession aswell, from the outside anyway.

I doubt he wants to drop to League One, nor do I think Raith will pay his wages, especially if the Morton fans true about him potentially being one of their higher earners.

Aye, it's a bit shite. I think you can loan them out, but it would be an "Emergency Loan" so would be limited to something like 93 days. And that also means if they've played for you then they'd have hit their limit of playing for two clubs in a season.

If players are registered to your club when the window shuts, they cant sign permanently elsewhere even if you release them.
