  1. And I would've gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those pesky csteinles!
  2. Ain't no doubt. WAP and the FB Banter Page to go into meltdown afterwards about how we should've spent it on May instead.
  3. Unofficial Twitter with quotes from TW saying we're "in talks with three or four" players and that one signing is close. Assume three are Habran, Sammon and Storey. Pure guesswork that Erwin might be the fourth. Could be anyone that's "close" to signing tbh, another pure guess would be Habran. I've no idea how I'd rate the others in terms of cost, would depend on if Aberdeen and Hearts wanted a fee.
  4. It was Berra. It was also Berra who inexplicably ran backwards in the build up the first goal, from memory Oxlade-Chamberlain over hit a touch, Berra had a chance to intercept it, or even get in the way, but took a step back, allowed him a free hit, and opened up an area of the goal to shoot at, all in one fell swoop.
  5. Whilst I agree he's the best CH in the league, you have to wonder if he'll be at that level after this injury, and how quickly he'd get his sharpness back. Could be six months before he's back to 100%. Worth a gamble, to me.
  6. Bear in mind Lithuanians will be using our shitehawk performance against Trakai as a barometer of the league..
  7. I doubt it, if Sammon is a genuine target. I've felt we've played good football this pre-season, after the embarrassing home display of hoofball against Trakai. For all his flaws Habran seemed to encourage that further by linked with Scougall and dropping deep. Sammon would just be another hard working grafter with absolutely no quality to add to the swathe of midfielders/forwards we already have like that. Scougall, Wotherspoon and MacLean are the only options we have who can actually claim to be creative to any degree, and even then Macca barely creates chances while Wotherspoon isn't close to being reliable. Another season of watching a midfield of Paton and Craig running aimlessly about and hoofs to a striker chasing balls into channels, but getting flagged offside every time, sounds awful.
  8. Honestly, Id have been able to put a positive spin on this if he was being signed as the third choice forward, and if TW hadn't spent the week previous to this interest going on about only signing a "difference maker" and how he'd rather just play youngsters than buy squad players. TWs made a rod for his own back.
  9. This. The creepy c**t who created it annoys me, seeing him fire it out with a smug face, only for nothing to happen then a might great dragon to land on his skull, would be amazing.
  10. Michael Coulson has signed for a ninth tier English side (maybe tenth tier, not sure) if anyone's interested
  11. Let's not forget he's also fourth choice keeper for Scotland.
  12. Shits getting serious. Glad to see Daenarys get hit with a lump in the road though, all seemed a bit easy for her so far, losing two allies in one fell swoop will hurt. Leaves a gaping big hole beside her for Jon to help fill in though. No idea how effective this "Dragon killer" will be, unless they line up millions and fire them at once. Not as if you'll get much of second chance if you miss.
  13. Graham, Sutton and Sammon. What a front line that would be.
  14. TW - "I want us to spend money this summer boss, I desperately want a new striker, we rely too much on Macca so we need a goalscorer, someone who's different to what we have, someone befitting a top six club" SB - "Who have you got in mind?" TW - "Well... There's this 30 year old striker who got 30 goals in the past 7 seasons..."
  15. How much of a chance do you think we have of getting MOH?
