  1. His biggest crime seems to be getting his ring filled in whilst dressed like a woman. Can see him getting on well with tree house tam..
  2. I said it was done a few days before it actually was and a managerial change saw it off the table. I've no idea how many times I've to post this before you stop following me about like some desperate wee dog. Fifepug, I dub thee.
  3. Mongoose spouts shite about transfers all over the place, my friend.
  4. Worth mentioning in the second last episode The Doctor makes it pretty obvious he can be female after a regeneration. Just watched the episode yesterday and have to wonder why people were so shocked at the announcement considering the last five or so episodes seemed to be signposting it
  5. I think Maguire was someone considered if we couldn't get Scougall tbh. They take up a similar area on the pitch. We badly need a striker, or winger, who can get in behind defences effectively. Habran didn't show that, but he did show other qualities that we need. If it's Habran + a player who can beat men then fine, I'd be delighted to sign him up, if it's Habran and nobody else, I'd be inclined to hold off and see who else pops up
  6. He's the type of moron who sits in his room reading blogs about stats, thinks it easy so creates some convulted process based on nothing logical and then fires it out thinking he's brilliant. It's absolutely moronic and a true reflection of how you "prove" anything you want with stats if you twist them enough.
  7. So you knew Rangers were playing a friendly but not that the Betfred Cup had started? Curious.
  8. I never said I watched the English game? Why did you watch a Rangers friendly instead of Partick v St Mirren?
  9. Not really no, but he saw a lot of the ball today and it was pretty prominent. Felt like a few times he had plenty of time, but rushed the pass and ended up completely misplacing it allowing them to counter on us. Type of thing that'll be punished in the league. Ricky Foster was equally culpable, he's lucky his throw in never seen us concede or Tommy would've went full BearJew on him.
  10. Partick v St Mirren was on, in a competitive, entertaining match. You chose a half arsed friendly involving Rangers instead. Why?
  11. Just finished the season. Last two episodes were superb I though, disguised Master one of the best characters they've had. Genuinely felt sorry for Bill too. Huge, huge disappointment at the utter shitehawk way they saved her, with a "twist" which fanboys will likely pass off as obvious as she cries in every episode or some such pish.
  12. Were people booing today? Just looked at Facebook there
  13. Yes. I'm wary of saying we should drop Anderson, as he's been incredible for us for years now, but it was the same with Mannus when Clark started to break through. The younger player should be given a fair crack to establish themselves, and if they fail to perform then the "trusted" player comes back in and they have a proper fight for the shirt, rather than Gordon/Gilchrist playing three game a season and being dropped as soon as the player they've replaced is fit.
  14. I think he was poor on the ball, especially in comparison to Gordon, constantly holding onto it for far too long. Was pretty rash in a few tackles, and a lot of the time he had the striker in a grapple which in a proper game would see a free kick awarded. Just seemed half a yard short to me. It's purely just sharpness though, and his first game back was always going to be like that.
  15. No. Watching a friendly between two of the best teams in Europe, on ITV, is not tragic. Trawling the Internet for a stream of your "hated rivals" playing a friendly match, is tragic.
  16. I think it's harsh to judge any of the defence this pre-season so far, it's been a different set up in every game. Only question mark is over Anderson who was absolutely rotten today, but it's his first game in ages, so it's hardly a massive shock. I'd also prefer Scougall central, but that requires a five man midfield. Only striker we have that can play on their own is Macca, and I'm not sure it's a role that suits him anymore.
  17. I'm more wondering why the full stops inside the quotation marks..
  18. Was probably to see how Habran done out wide and how Kane done as an isolated striker. Worthwhile exercise tbh.
  19. Why were you watching a Rangers friendly? That's absolutely tragic.
  20. How much do you think Austin could fetch? I'm not trolling or anything, genuinely curious as I've no idea about his contract situation of that.
  21. Not sure the tricks will annoy him too much, Spoonys prone to the same. I think TW was looking for him to make runs in behind when he was up front, and whilst he did do it a few times down the left, he never once made a decent central run. There was a point when Muzz was charging down the park, Habran was the main option but just continued his run beside the two centre halves, if he'd pulled off he'd have been in the clear. I think TW would've looked at his tracking back when he played on the wing, and he again didn't quite get it. He didn't always follow his man, and had a bizarre moment when he decided to stand in the centre circle, leaving Foster isolated on the right and leaving a mammoth gap between Foster and Gordon. I'm not sure whether TW told him to go to the left either, but he didn't communicate it at all so we ended up with no right winger. A positive was he was willing to talk to his team mates. Foster, Easton, Muzz and Macca all gave him instructions and he listened and followed them. TW also gave him a few words and again he was taking it on board. I think that'll be a big thing in his favour. Just observations that I saw, that worried me a little about him. No idea if it's what other people saw.
  22. Not convinced we'll sign Habran, which will likely cause a meltdown and many "sack Steve Brown" type comments. In my opinion hes very much like MOH was when he first joined. Has the raw pace and ability on the ball, but isn't sure how to use/what runs to make. He vanished from the game once he went on the wings, and yet when he was up front he never had a sniff of a chance at goal, he also shirked a few physical confrontations, so I'm not really sure where he'll play if he signs if we're still wanting a striker. He did link well with Scougall when he was up front, and his willingness to drop short/run the wings allowed Macca to stay up top which led to the goal.
