  1. Sky Sports News were reporting from the match and mentioned it.
  2. It only took a few hours after the MOH signing for the first posts about how TW never plays youngsters and how Craig Thomson is better anyway.
  3. Rangers fans on the pitch after scoring in a pre-season friendly. A few been chucked out for throwing flares onto the pitch aswell. Utterly pointless
  4. He's never taken his chance, tbh. Hes had runs of six/seven starts and struggles to score more than one in them. Last season we played a 4-4-2 and his competition was Graham Cummins, who was absolutely abysmal, and yet he was still contributing more than Kane. He just doesn't seem to know what type of striker he is with us. One minute he drops deep, but his touch is poor and hes got no real ability to top flight defenders 1v1, then he tried to hold the ball up, but again his first touch is often poor, and he's too weak for top flight defenders. He's best at getting in behind, but too often he goes far too early and gets caught offside, and even if he doesn't he usually fluffs his shot wide. I don't think another loan to the Championship will help him that much, but no top flight team would want him.
  5. I've a FM screenshot of Saints signing May that I'm tempted to stick on, just to see what happens.
  6. You should make a cheeky offer and see what happens. He's been pretty poor in pre-season so far, and with us signing O'Halloran and going after another high profile striker there's an argument Kane could be considered fifth choice.
  7. He's a slightly better version of Azeez. I want him back, but our because you automatically romanticise him in your head because he's so loveable. In reality he'll spend most games offside, giving away fouls and missing sitters.
  8. Can anyone tell me which folk on the Banter FB page it would be shite behaviour to laugh at? I'm aware some of them have a mental disability and I'd feel shits mocking them, but there's a guy who genuinely believed we sold Graham Cummins to Brentford for £1.2m based on an FM screenshot.
  9. We have a good history with "lazy maverick" players. Can't help but feel getting Watt in permanently would be a gamble worth taking, especially since the squad as it is will be strong to enough to cope even if he flopped. He's got the potential to be MacLeans successor.
  10. I'm not sure, tbh. We've five centre halves, and Kerr seems to be bottom of the pile. I'm not ITK or anything, but I feel like we'll try and loan him out to a Championship side this season.
  11. It's brilliant tbh, was absolutely over the moon when I heard MOH had signed as I had no idea it was even realistic.
  12. Fucking hell, even you're hearing rumours before me now.
  13. I don't see why Doolan would move, he's a legend there and we're unlikely to massively up his wage to make it worth it. Hemmings seems an important part of the squad at Oxford, and they'd want to make money on him. Beyond the price I'd expect us to spend.
  14. I'd say the chances of us signing Moult, Doolan or Hemmings is virtually nil.
  15. I think we can have more, but you're only allowed one over 21 loan from the same league.
  16. They'll win games at Ibrox as teams will go there and sit off them (we'll do it more than anyone, before anyone starts)
  17. He looked about 12 [emoji23] Paton started laughing when he came on, and tried to absolutely smash him, but he just skipped by him and left him for dead. Was tremendous.
  18. Hearts won't sack him yet, invested too much in him to quit on it before the season starts. And why can "Rangers only improve"? They've got an abysmal tactical manager in charge and half the team are expecting the teams they face to be pub league standard. They've vastly under-estimate it, similar to when Le Guen brought in a raft of French players. I would add that I'd be delighted with a top half finish this year. Feels like the strongest league in a while.
  19. Two weeks ago I'd have said yes, now? I think he'd turn it down. His biggest moan with us is not getting targets that he wants, this Summer he's been able to get Scougall and MOH, and Kyle keeps hinting that he'll be getting another. He'll be delighted that Brown has backed him and has allowed him to build a squad that, Scobbie aside, hes probably had his head for a while now. At Hearts he'd be starting over with someone else's squad and, tbh, our expectations for the season ahead are the same as Hearts anyway. Levein will be a huge factor aswell. Might be wrong and he'll see it as a step up, which would be understandable in a way, but I think the timing is wrong for it to happen.
  20. Which sounds exactly like something Levein would do.
  21. What? He got a four year deal when he signed with Rangers in 2016.
