  1. It's currently trundling on with people suggesting we sign Andreu, hours after someone else suggested it and was told he'd signed elsewhere. A lot of people suggesting Callum Hendry deserves a chance before we sign another striker aswell. This seasons Thomson, it seems.
  2. You lot got a sell on fee with Johnson? Sky reporting Hull have made an offer
  3. Banter page will be tremendous tomorrow when May joins Aberdeen. Can't wait
  4. I'd be wary. Only person capable of comparing the May we had, to the current May, is Alex Neil, and he's letting him leave after a month and no game time. I, honestly and sincerely, want him to do well, he'll always be a hero for that one season. I genuinely can't see how he'll be that player again though, his injury as too severe, and is still ongoing with weekly niggles.
  5. Robert Thomson confirming May will be an Aberdeen player by the weekend. That'll surely push Storey out the door. Get the feeling TW never planned to loan Kane out, and was deciding between Storey and this other target, but has now decided to bring in two new forwards and loaning Kane out was easier than selling Cummins.
  6. Robert Thomsons saying May will be yours by the weekend. He's spot on with transfers.
  7. No. Seems like the Aberdeen deal is back on. They seem convinced, along with bookies, that he's signing for them tomorrow. Maybe suggests it'll be Storey that signs for us.
  8. I think Sammons shots would actually leave the ground, and reach the goals, he'd also be able to hold off defenders. We don't need any try hard though, we need actual goalscoring ability
  9. Fair enough, maybe thought it was too much of a risk. It wasn't a hired assassin, seemingly, just some guy who was desperate for money. Seemingly Littlefinger knew it was Joffrey but told Catelyn it was Tyrion as he knew she's go after him whereas she'd have struggled to get at Joffrey. I do like the fact the whole war is due to Littlefinger.
  10. Ken what, I fucking hate puns, get in the sea Kyle. Get Storey announced and get him up top on Saturday.
  11. I think she thinks the dragons have to be riden into battle, and she can only take one.
  12. I've Googled it and it explains whose dagger it is. I'd post the whole thing but I'm worried someone will claims it's some form of spoiler. It says it's Joffreys though.
  13. Yeah it was Littlefingers. The fact hes probably aware than Bran knows this, and that Ayra is making it obvious how easily she could kill him, will have him coiling like a snake, his bite could be devastating.
  14. Tbf I can sort of understand it, I like him, but in 2017 he's got one goal and two assists.
  15. It's strange how every defeat leads to multiple statuses about how the youth players are so much better than what we have. Some people genuinely seem to believe every player under 21 for us is an incredible player but TW just flat out refuses to play them.
  16. I'm still not convinced we played that badly last night. For some reason the first goal is always huge with our team, and if we'd had someone capable of finishing we'd have gotten it. First half we created a lot of decent opportunities but just couldn't get the cross or shot right. Second half started slower but we weren't exactly brutal until the penalty and wonder goal come along and rocked us. A lot of hand wringing and criticising of every player, but really it's all coming back to not taking chances, to me.
  17. I think he handed it to Bran to try and help get Bran to listen to him, and confide in him. Sansas stopped that, and he seems to understand it'll never happen with Arya, so he gave Bran a go.
  18. He's been doing it for ages. A long shot but we need a striker in as soon as possible. A lack of finisher has seen us out of two competitions already, falling away from the top five in the league is the next problem we might face.
  19. He was definitely offside. In fact I'm fairly certain every touch MacLean had inside the box was offside.
  20. Some episode, Dragon see, Dragon kill. Bit weird how folk are being turned to ash, and sliced everywhere, yet Jamie, the highest profile "enemy" stands still for ten minutes in the middle and doesn't get attacked. Weird how Bronn survives dragon fire by jumping a few yards away too. Very odd how Drogon spends half the time incinerating carts yet misses the one that has the scorpion in it.. Excitement when it was beginning though, just pure anticipation of the Dragon appearing. Felt like a kid. Bran definitely knows what Littlefingers done, and what he will do, that's why he said what he did. First time Littlefingers looked genuinely stumped aswell, rattles of his prepared shpeel to try and get a different Stark on his side and Bran just shuts him down. Biggest problem is Bran probably doesn't give enough of a f**k to actually make Sansa or Arya aware. I highly doubt he's not given Arya the dagger for a reason though.
  21. I think sometimes you have to, especially these days. Sticking a foot in on a sprinting striker is asking for trouble as refs will always give the penalty. And we weren't far off. Partick had three shots on target and scored them, we had ten shots at goal and couldn't get one in target. That's the only difference.
  22. It didn't look like a penalty, but a player of his experience should know better than to be sticking his foot in there. I'd prefer to him to just shepherd the striker, especially when the referee is performing the way he is.
