  1. Yellow if it's accidental, red if it's intentional. At the time it looked identical, from the east stand. Replays make it look like a dive
  2. You'd imagine they'd want near £250k surely? I feel like I'm the only Saints fan who isn't expecting us to be spending serious money. Everyone seems to be suggesting the likes of Rooney and Ciftci on permanent deals.
  3. Seemed to me that Wotherspoon was "second in line" getting to the ball after the keeper, so technically him picking it up was preventing a chance at goal. Obviously that's contradicted by the fact if you remove the keeper then the centre half doesn't slow down. Either way if the keeper or centre half just blooters it, like normal people, then you never put the ref in that position.
  4. He's missed every easy chance he's had for about 8 months, he probably thought he'd take the penalty as he'd have more chance of scoring from it. Utterly embarrassing.
  5. MacLean is, and always has been, an absolute c**t of a man when he's playing football. If he didn't play for us I'd despise him. Pundits showing how little they know about us by questioning why Cummins shat out of an easy chance..
  6. Still no idea how any Motherwell fan can complain about the second red.
  7. Asensio is an obscenely talented young player
  8. Swapped over to El Clasico, which has been shite, and missed all the scenes. Idiot.
  9. Sky sports mix is now channel 121, took me ages to find it.
  10. He seems to see Gincardine swing every debate into "all about the Rangers" one, and then Ralph Wiggums it when he tries to replicate it. Poor lad.
  11. You think it's a winnable competition with Celtic still in it?
  12. Yes, come the end of the season when we're lifting the league trophy, we'll all look back in sorrow at not reaching the quarter finals of the league cup.
  13. The diddy cup doesn't matter a f**k to us, m8, you get all excited about reaching the Quarters will the St Johnstone juggernaut sails towards the title.
  14. Was taken when he heard we were top of the league, I think.
  15. He wanted to play in Australia and felt it would be a good long term move for his family, is what I can remember. Can't begrudge him considering it if he thought that's what would be best for his children, tbh. That's the only time he's come close to leaving in his time here
  16. In terms of him being an unreliable squad member. Never seemed sure if he'd be fit to start, and even if he was you'd never be sure how long he'd last. Although it's probably actually been a full season since that was an issue, and I feel shite debating these things about a long term player when the full story isn't even known.
  17. Have to imagine we'd see more of Wotherspoon in the middle if Millar left. Otherwise we're left with three cloggers. I'd be sad to see Millar leave, but it's only 12 months since we were all raging because he could only last thirty minutes per game. In terms of contribution to the team, he's probably been one of the worst over the past two seasons, purely due to injuries, so is the obvious candidate to move on of you're looking to free up wages. Seems a bit heartless, but you can't really carry folk purely for sentimental reasons. Edit: see folk saying Millar hasn't actually been injured. Sure I now remember people saying he was forced out the squad to prevent an extension clause being triggered last year too. Seems a bit shite from the club, if it's all true, tbh.
  18. Probably when Legia Warsaw sign Ciftci for £1m and our fans start moaning we should've signed him before.
  19. Arsenal spend more on their pitch every season than 6 top flight Scottish clubs spend on their entire club combined
  20. We've only got O'Halloran on loan until January, which is probably why we're only allowing Kane out until January. We've only got two senior centre halves aswell, with two younger players providing back up, if an injury forcing a senior player out, then we'll need Kerr back in January too. Id be surprised if Kerr didn't stay the full season if he does well, at the moment I'd suggest Kane would return in January.
