    Indeed. We've agreed a fee with Aberdeen and the player wants to join. As Widge says though, there's plenty of rumours we're after a higher profile striker, and TW is mentioning a target of a similar standing, in his eyes, as MOH and Scougall, can't see that being Storey.

    Not convinced it's Maksimov, TW won't have had any idea about him before we drew them, and he's on about getting the third of his "Summer targets", actually hyping myself up for it to be May tbh, absolutely no chance of it but I'll likely be this way for the rest of time. Imagine Storey will be allowed to leave Aberdeen after their next European game.

    Aye, sort of worded it wrong. We'll pay a small fee for an unwanted player, but any decent name who is actually wanted by their club would likely cost over £100k, which I can't see us paying, outwith maybe an Irish player

    Alstons been pretty average for us, flits in and out and honestly doesn't look like anymore than a cover player in a top six team. Imagine Sibbald would be around the same, nowhere near worth £200k anyway.

    So has TW. We were a great attacking side before May was ripped from him and he wasn't allowed to spend any money replacing him. He was forced to rely on narrow wins and everyone seems to have held the opinion of him from that season. Two seasons ago we were incredible, when MOH had his purple patch, but again the form player was ripped from him and we had to get more solid.

    Ideally we'd keep Watson and give Comrie first team football. I think we need to get Watson off the wage bill if we want another striker through, so I'd say it's worth it.
