  1. Good question. Mckee, Dallison, Fasan, Mitchell, Sammut, Haber and Lewis can all go for me. I did have Paton and Kidd in there before yesterday but I think they might do ok now. A keeper is a main priority for January. Also depending on who we can bring in I wouldn't be fussed about trying to renew Irving's loan. I'd like to keep Rudden though for the rest of the season.
  2. He's not good enough but I'd rather he was playing instead of Haber or Lewis!
  3. 3 points an improving team and only 6 games to go until January of which 4 are at home and all very winnable games. Things are looking up
  4. You need to spend more time reading posts before you reply to them!
  5. Yes true, I was just pointing out his habit of signing a duffer that had been on trial.
  6. Oh I agree but Houston did sign some absolute dross that had been on trial with us in the past.
  7. Not concerning at all for me. It sounds like a have had quite a few on trial and none have been deemed good enough so far. Ray will only sign them if he thinks they are good enough and and fit enough. Houston would probably have signed the lot of them up!
  8. I think we have made a bit of progress in the last few games with the change of formation. We have played easily the 2 best teams so far with the new formation and there wasn't much between the teams. If we can avoid defeat to alloa and Partick then I think we will be in an ok position for the January rebuild.
  9. If McKee left the club tomorrow I don't think I'd even notice.
  10. Scary thought but you are probably right. Fingers crossed Buaben makes it today.
  11. Again I'm not up to speed on all things board and academy but have we brought through any decent players since the whole project brave thing came into force? There is nothing better than seeing a good youth the club has produced coming into the team but it honestly feels like that hasn't happened for a good while now. Maybe there is reasons for that like the managers not giving them a chance. Hopefully if we get things sorted on the park and actually manage to get promotion to the top flight the club will reintroduce some sort of youth setup on a smaller scale to what we had.
  12. I have no idea if getting rid of the academy is a good thing or not but from a personal point of view I do like seeing a player we have developed making their debut and getting a chance in the first team. Did we have any sort of academy all those years ago when Lee Miller and Mark Kerr came into the team?
  13. Bloody trypcial. Looked decent at the back for once now Muirhead is out for a while. It's just going to be one of those seasons where nothing goes right
  14. Very encouraging how well we done last night playing the 352 considering we would only have had a few days to prepare. The defence is by no means perfect but I'd be happy to go with what we have minus Dallison and Harrison and adding 1 centre back and a right sided defender until the end of the season. The midfield is where we need most work in my opinion. I'd keep Irving and Buaben but try and replace the rest. Sign 2 quality centre mids and a striker and I'd be happy. 5 signings I think that is. Doesn't sound too much to ask for
  15. Fair enough my opinion on the matter is maybe wrong. I still hope they get pelters on Thursday though
  16. I get what your saying but still no need for the club to confirm it.
  17. Now potential signings know there is plenty of funds they will probably ask for a few extra hundred quid because there joining a team stuck at the bottom of the table.
  18. Laughable if they think announcing funds for January will give them an easy ride on Thursday. Amateur hour announcing funds will be available in the first place.
  19. There must be a reason for it. No idea what it is though. Russell can't even make the bench most of the time.
  20. Just 9 games to go until January now and looking at Alloa's fixtures I can't see them pulling too far clear especially if we can avoid defeat to them. You never know we might sign another player or 2 before January and scrape another win in those 9 games
  21. I wonder if he had that lined up before he agreed to leave. Probably getting more down there than we were paying him!
  22. Scott Mcdonald would literally rather never play football again than sign for you diddies. Im sure there are players in their early 20s who feel exactly the same way. I'm sure there are but if they had the choice between us or Morton it's a no brainer. How does that feel?
