Well what a mess this is. If we end up with Jim Duffy I will not be happy at all. Looking at who is available and who would want the job I'd now seriously think about giving Mark Kerr a crack at it. I know they were really impressed with the work he done when he helped out after Houston got the boot. He obviously would be a bit of a gamble but I just get the gut feeling he will be a good manager and knows the club inside out.

How does the loan system work? Will there be any scope to punt a few players out on loan of the new manager decides he doesn't fancy them? I'm sure there will be some takers down South for the likes of TOE Dallison or Harrison if they don't improve soon.

I think we know some players aren't good enough, Paton for example but the likes of Sammut might improve dramatically with a good manager in place. I noticed last week that we were still chasing Nelson, that would do just fine.

The new manager needs to make his own mind up on all players, only fair they all get a clean slate. And let's be honest Harris is probably better than Petra.

All a new manager has to do is sign a right back and he will instantly be a Falkirk legend.

I think every player needs a clean slate including McKee and Harris. Hartley has no man management skills at all so let's see what happens with a manager that knows how to treat them properly.

I was told McIntyre wanted a 1 year rolling contract and we weren't keen on that.

It's only Monday. He should be starting to get match fitness for Saturday.

I agree with Kidd in a right back. Nothing fancy there but dependable enough (we always had a good record with him at right back).

I can't argue with some of that but he still wasn't a failure as our manager. It's just a shame he couldn't be arsed recruiting properly, he would have been a great manager for us if he did.

We need a new manager then punt some loan signings like Turner and Sammut. Send Petra Dallison and Harrison out on loan to the Shire and get McKee and Harris (it's that fucking bad) back into the team. Sign 4 or 5 new players and we are good to go. Doesn't seem to hard to do

Not sure I agree with that. Houston surely can't be looked upon as a bad choice? Yes it fizzled out but we got to a cup final and had 2 very good 2nd place finishes. Again 99% of us were delighted with the appointment of Hartley and probably 100% delighted with Houston's appointment. If it was us appointinh the manager Hartley would have got the job.
