My Brother lives in Dublin, has done for almost 30 years. He gets to about 3-4 games a year. Costs him a pretty penny with Flights , occasionally Ferry , car hire etc . He ( like all of our family ) have supported Saints all our lives through thick & thin. He has Shares in saints , is a SMISA member & has as much , if not more of a grasp of the goings on at our club than many others . He is retired now after many years in senior management & work at Government level ,but he doesn’t have a season ticket despite the fact that he could very easily afford one . So does he qualify for your criteria of being a fan - or does the fact that he doesn’t have a season ticket & doesn’t live in Paisley disqualify him ?

Villa are toying with Hibs now.

For me , Dee certainly had the better of the 2nd half. Came out with more aggression and attacking intent but the game really turned when Tiffoney came on. Just about everyone in the Saints support could see that Strain was already blowing out of his arse , to Chuck a speedy clever player like Tiffoney up against him was always going to cause us problems.

For me . #3 Carson #2 Hladky #1 Alnwick In my opinion, I thought Alnwick was more commanding of his area and a great shot blocker, better than both of the other two. Hladky had superb mobility and agility ( & wasn’t too back with penalties !) Carson wasn’t as good as either of them in those departments and was a couple of inches too wee for a keeper.

Aye, the management can’t have too much faith in him - right enough Must be why after seeing him in training every day for a year since taking the job ,taking on board the advice of a goalkeeping coach who has a very decent record of spotting a goalie - he handed him a contract extension From the OS : Manager Stephen Robinson said: "Peter has been excellent any time he has come into the team. "He's got real stature, a good kick on him and he's getting better and better with every training session and I think what we have on our hands is an asset. "He's someone we were very keen to secure on a new contract."

Be a pity to see it go ( if it does ) after all the good work to get it set up in the first place. I simply couldn’t justify the membership fee for what I got out of it but appreciate others will have a different view. If it does end up as another corporate lounge, hopefully it is a sort of “Hospitality lite” as other clubs have done or an open bar for all fans , again as others have managed to do. Either way, I think the members, especially the founding members might feel aggrieved .

Agree , Lennon & Kenny looked the pick of the bunch . Kenny looks every inch a first team player and Lennon hopefully will follow suit . While I agree young Sutherland is a good prospect, I thought he was missing from the game for long periods. His goal was a peach but he should have done better with his second effort a few minutes later. Bolton strolled the match in the first half, Stav didn’t really get anything other than another 45 minutes game time .

So is the display area to disappear completely ? If so, it devalues the experience of visiting / membership of 1877 . If the display is to be re-sited within the 1877 it will have to be in the kids area or within the seating area - again that would be devaluing the experience. I was an 1877 member but only for one season as I felt the set up coupled with how often I used it meant the cost f membership didn’t offer value for money , if the club eat into the space used by 1877 , that can only have a negative effect on how others view the facility ….in my opinion.
