That rung a bell so I googled his name with Forfar Albion and Forfar West End. Found that he played for Forfar West End after leaving us but left in April due to work commitments. Gary Irons who was released at the same time also ended up at West End and left to go to Dundee North End.

Just a guess but I think a CVA would be achievable given that their debt will be owed to individuals instead of the tax man who would never negotiate. If a sensible administrator could pool together a decent amount of money then they will get out of it again. The reason I can see the CVA passing is that their only assets are really the stadium and training ground and I can't see the stadium going for much money given it can't really be used for anything else. Training ground may go I imagine (did Rangers ever rename Murray Park?) and I sort of see it as irrelevant. This is Rangers though so it's quite likely that they'll end up with a dodgy administrator and see their attempts to hide the assets backfire spectacularly.

Nah it's always been the Third/Fourth round (they added in more non league sides and added in an extra earlier round in between rounds two and three) and third/fourth was played in January. A couple of years ago, they decided to move this round to help accommodate a winter break for a season and it seems to have stuck.

I think we've signed him at the right time. He's probably a wee bit too old to get a move down south and his best years will come in his late 20s.
