    Got a notification from "We are the People" Facebook page informing me I had won a top fan badge. All this because I had got into discussion with a bellend who reckoned if it wasn't for Rangers, clubs like East Fife would go out of business. Pointing out a certain liquidation event in 2012 only prolonged the diatribe. Anyone want a top fan badge for We are the People?

    Can I refer you to the poppy thread for a number of reasons why this event has become something ridiculous. I always pause for reflection, remembering my Grandfather and his brothers during WW1. One survived intact, one suffered shell shock, one was fortunate to not get shot for desertion. And then I pause for the same poor buggers on the other side of the trenches. Not a fan of the whole charade. Soz.

    No. I think it is unnecessary to have political and potentially divisive stuff like this ahead of fitba matches. There are plenty of opportunities, if you are so inclined, to take part elsewhere. It did not happen at fitba games until relatively recently.

    I think minute's silences/ applauses should be restricted to individuals connected with the club. I don't think that is particularly controversial
