    In addition to the above, music and visual prompts (photos etc) can be useful therapy. I do football reminiscence groups in care settings. Remember dementia progresses very slowly so hopefully with it being diagnosed early will mean support and medication can be put in place.

    I'm struggling to think of a kinder expression for shitting the nest, other than shitting the nest. Aberdeen were home and hosed against a mediocre Rangers' side. Poor defending cost them two goals and a win. I'm not even sure you can point the finger at the way they set up. Players have to take responsibility and do the basics.

    Spent much of the morning arguing with folk on Facebook who are adamant that most of the players representing France on Sunday are not French, despite their entire starting line-up being born in France. Absolute cretins.
