  1. I stand by my post. Shane Duffy at the back, James Collins up front. Ireland are shite.
  2. Draw for the Nations League taken, and f**k knows what Switzerland are doing in Group C but we're going to be nowhere near winning the group. If we can get a couple of results against Lithuania to not be relegated, I'll be happy with that.
  3. In a surprise to no one, an international side featuring Shane Duffy are currently losing to Azerbaijan.
  4. March 2064 Unbeaten run in the league is over, and we've been dumped out the cup in the semi finals, but 3 wins in the other games including a last minute winner against Skhendija made it another decent enough month. We're now a point behind due to that loss against Makedonija, but with a game against Vardar and Rabotnicki still to go, it's still in our hands. Latvia A couple of friendlies and some good wins. Aruba are ranked just ahead of us, so that's a decent enough win, while Tuvalu aren't ranked and are absolutely shite. I forgot to arrange another friendly, and they were the only team available at short notice. It's still the biggest win in Latvian history, so worth playing them.
  5. February 2064 Another unbeaten month, which makes it four without loss now. We rescued a point against Vardar by scoring with our only chance of the game. Performance there was a bit worrying as we were very poor, but we didn't lose and it keeps us very much in the race. We scored loads of goals though, so that's good. We're also into the semi final of the cup, so that's nice. As above, scoring all those goals has seen our goal difference advantage grow, which looks like it'll be vital if this keeps up. We have one more game against Vardar to go, which looks like it'll be the decider in the title race. Still 12 games to go in these ludicrously long seasons.
  6. It's only February, and we're a disgraceful bunch of hammerthrowers. Glorious.
  7. January 2064 The winning run came to an end, but another unbeaten month and Devadze continues to be a completely outrageous player for us with back to back hattricks. Still top of the table, and Vardar now have no games in hand, although it's only on goal difference at the minute. 16 games left, and we're definitely in the title race.
  8. December 2063 Absolutely everything is going right for us at the minute. We thumped Vardar, and the rest of the month was us playing ok, but not brilliantly, and still scoring plenty of goals and winning. Which I'm taking as a very good sign basically. We're now top of the table, for the time being, but should Vardar win their games in hand then they'll be two points ahead. It's still going very well this season.
  9. Loan window is still open, which I assume is where we were looking anyway. I think we can also still get free agents at any time as long as they were free agents before the transfer deadline, but I'm not 100% on that. In any case, does anyone actually care about tomorrow's game?
  10. He’s a Labour MSP. I don’t know why he made that joke, but I assume he’s called for an investigation into the Heart and Hand stuff, so they’re pointing out hypocrisy as if that makes him wrong.
  11. There’s a long list, but I think the worst would be being in a call centre. Either people phoning up with complaints all day, or cold calling and being told to f**k off. Plus, the nonsense targets and ‘team building’ crap that you hear about would get to me. Think I’d inevitably end up saying f**k this and walking out one day. That and I don’t think I could handle the pressure of being a big wheel down at the cracker factory.
  12. I’m not watching but I assume they’re being massive racists again?
  13. We're less than half way through the season, and Devadze has already equalled the record for most goals scored in a single league campaign in Macedonia. What a boy
  14. November 2063 A pretty straightforward month where we faced all of the bottom three in the league, and a fourth tier side in the cup. You can only beat what's in front of you though, and we've done that without much fuss. We're sitting second as things stand, but I would expect that once games in hand have been played that'll be fourth. Vardar in particular I would expect to be miles ahead once they've played the same amount of games as the rest of us. That said, we're seven points clear of fifth, so definitely in the race for european places. Top three are guaranteed, while fourth is dependent on the cup winner. Latvia Our qualification campaign finished with a doing from Turkey, clearly annoyed that we drew with them previously. They're a good side though, and our draw was an incredible result for us - 4-0 is more like it. A friendly against our Baltic neighbours followed, and we should have won it but will have to settle for the draw. They're pretty similarly ranked to us, 5 places above us, so an even-ish game was always to be expected. No surprises really, three points is about as well as I could expect to do. I'm very hopeful that next time round, we can grab a win.
  15. I'm currently watching Georgia v Kosovo, and Kris Boyd and the commentator are inexplicably having a chat about the merits of being a native English speaker... Edit: Both these teams are shite.
  16. I would assume so. 1-1 away, and 2-0 at Hampden. Seemingly these are the only times we’ve played Moldova ever.
  17. See apart from countries smaller than Kilmarnock, I’d say Moldova are probably the worst team in Europe just now. If we don’t beat them, it’ll be the worst result in our history. We’ll beat them though.
  18. Even if they did, if you don’t think our second half performance was considerably better (not that it says much) then you’re a clinical moron.
  19. Aye. second half has been better, which only really serves to demonstrate that Clarke made a c**t of it with the starting line up. And I’m a fan of Clarke.
  20. Might well do, but there’s literally no chance whatsoever that it can be less effective than what we’re doing the now,
