  1. Should have been 3 from another bit of dreadful Israeli defending.
  2. Transfers 2046/47 For some reason, we had loads of guys who were rated at best half a star and were never, ever going to get a game hanging around the squad, so I punted all of them. Kevin Sultana, who was about my 4th choice striker, also left to play in the Hibernians youth team, so good luck to him. I guess. Everyone in the league is on a non-contract thing and can just be signed for free, so I'm quite pleased that I've managed to keep the vast majority of my squad. Two familiar names, and two new ones. I'm hopeful that this will supplement what was already a pretty good team for this level. The window is also still open for another month, but I don't plan to sign anyone unless the right player comes up. Suad Hrustic was the right back in my Leiknir team, but he'll be playing as a centre back here. He's pretty decent defensively. and has some pace so that's always helpful for a centre half. More than good enough for this league. The golden boy from my Vestur team up next, Kari Arge. He's here to be my main striker, and given that his career goal scoring record currently reads 70 games, 60 goals I'm hopeful that he should be able to do well here. Peter Bozic is a central midfielder and he looks good. A technically gifted player, his physical stats aren't great but he should be an asset going forward. Certainly better than what I had before. Last up, Zvonimir Fejzic on loan. A right back, I tried to sign him permanently but he said no, so he's just here for the season. He's fine, pretty dependable defensively (by Maltese standards) and that should do.
  3. While I think the pay increase is deserved, if you could stop it with this “heroes” patter, that’d be much appreciated. Anyway, SNP/Green for me. Would be Green/Green but they aren’t standing in my constituency.
  4. “If” doing a lot of extremely heavy lifting there, mate.
  5. Yes, anyone who makes an allegation of sexual assault should have their anonymity compromised publicly if the allegation doesn’t lead to a conviction. That’ll definitely be a good thing for society.
  6. Europa Conference League, First Qualifying Round - 2046 Our European journey doesn't last very long, as we bow out immediately against Cypriot side Omonia. We actually played pretty well, for the most part, and I wasn't able to register my new players yet so I'm hopeful that's a good omen.
  7. They could break the MSP’s code of conduct, which I think is what NTP (and Andy Wightman) was talking about.
  8. While this is true, Cardle coming off the bench tends to mean that Connor Murray starts and, goal last night aside, he’s an absolute passenger of Shea Gordon proportions. Cardle is weird in that he simultaneously looks utter shite and also our only attacker capable of actually creating anything. Anyway, throw Graham in for Rudden, and that’ll be that.
  9. I think there was a poll last year that showed he had, by far, the best approval rating in Scotland of any of the Tories. So, I guess ‘high approval ratings’ could mean “less widely despised” in this context.
  10. Cowdenbeath’s final substitution was for a head knock, so I’m assuming that was a concussion sub. I hadn’t noticed that they’d already used 4 at that point though.
  11. We seem to be even more intent than usual to give away a goal. Also, Michael Max gets players mixed up quite a lot, and it annoys me greatly.
  12. Should be decent, given he’s mostly played above this level throughout his career. Is there any news on the striker from down south we were trying to sign?
  13. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t do L1 games, but he definitely does some League Cup group stage games. Screaming abuse at him would almost make watching Thistle worth it.
  14. Surely if you were going to spell it wrongly ‘Stur-GONE’ would be the natural choice.
  15. I know it’s meant as a kind of “we’re a police state” metaphor, but I’m absolutely gone at the idea of some North Korean peasants have a good chuckle about this
  16. Even then, surely even Sir Keith isn’t stupid enough to not realise how badly being in coalition with the Tories up here would go down with Labour voters down south? Surely there’s no fucking danger he, or any other Labour leader, could let it happen for fear of the backlash.
  17. I mean, the fact that the VONC is already fucking scheduled should be enough to show anyone at all that the Tories don’t actually care what the report says. I realise that most on this forum will be aware of this, but the brassneck of these c***s is absolutely ridiculous.
  18. Yeah, I’m very much enjoying the stuff about Hamilton being a “lifelong SNP voter” I’ve also come to the conclusion that the funniest possible outcome is if SG just redact the whole fucking thing. Heads gone galore.
  19. The politicians I’ve met were a mixed bag - Ken Macintosh and Patrick Harvie came across as good guys, Jim Murphy and Jackson Carlaw absolutely did not.
