He was the one I thought would stay. However if someone triggers the release clause and offers him a larger wage then you cant blame him. At the end of the day we got a shit load of goals out him and made a profit. We have had a great season out him and he was a great pro while at the club, I wish him well. No point dwelling on it, just got to sort out a replacement now. Moving on.....,

Sounds like we were needing a player to take the game by the scruff of the neck today. We were without our 2 most creative players today in Stewart and Harkins. Since it looks like we have ditched Harkins, if Stewart either leaves or stays and doesnt put his all in to his playing, we could be in for a long difficult season.

Bain is our most valuable asset imo. Im fine with Stewart going for nothing at the end of the season. Ask yourselves, if we were offered a player on a free transfer for 3 years and at least 2 of those years he was in the short list for player of the year, would you take him if the deal was he left for nothing at the end? Im sure I would!
