  1. For me alone, I read this that the junior association want the North and East juniors incorporated in the way they want, which is East juniors in at tier 6 as a separate association which would NEVER happen and thus all the juniors including the West would just go round and round on a roundabout with no junior team going to the pyramid/seniors league as the squabbling would continue round the agreement table. I'm not more inclined to think its best that the teams who want to progress should join the senior/pyramid league and those junior teams who want to stay should stay, I really do not see a problem with this with a team wanting to try and grow. Obviously the knock on effect would be that the following junior year after a few QUALITY teams have left there wouldn't be as good a product and thus those teams that stay might get itchy feet. I can understand why TJ is fighting for what they want as it means they are still in a power position but he's not been wanting to make concessions that's why he wants the all-in to join the way he wants at the levels he thinks it should be but the seniors, and quite rightly in my eyes, are not going for this.
  2. Anyways folks, the sideshow is over. Back to what this thread is best at. Now, what is the listings looking like now for teams showing an interest in the Senior/Pyramid WOS set up and the teams not interested ?
  3. lolol, Never said I am anything to do with Rossvalejfc my friend. If I was I would announce it as they are an excellent team, very progressive and doing well so anyone would be proud to be a part of Rossvale juniors. Its best not to get into an argument my friend, I try not to as the post goes well without arguments and a lot of interesting topics regarding the future of junior football is discussed on here which many, many people find interesting. p.s. my friend, my junior club I follow is Benburb, but I'm quite shy about announcing that
  4. Please tell me you are not part of Rossvale in a decision capacity, please for the love of god. Aggressive people are just not good for any team in this situation. being aggressive doesn't do you well my friend, be considerate and positive is the way ahead, don't put people against you with telling people what to do. Don't post to things you disagree with in an aggressive matter as it will just escalate the post and put people against you. I could tear your post apart easily even just the hearsay alone but I wont as Im not into putting people down and when I make a mistake or say something out of line I'm the first to apologise Do you know the definition of a forum, I do, heres one for you (An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. They differ from chat rooms in that messages are often longer than one line of text, and are at least temporarily archived.) So I will post to any forum I please either junior, senior, youth, east of Scotland, making fairy cakes, mechanical procedures for heart transplants. I will post on a forum that I feel that interests me or that I have a connection
  5. I was waiting till you noticed that and change it before you posted Actually I did giggle when I read my post after posting., proof reading is so important
  6. I never said the juniors but I also never said the academy which I meant. Let me rephrase that and I apologise if it was not conveyed the way it was intended and that's due to my fluid post, not being more precise. Rossvale academy, not the Juniors, put it to the SJFA, and quite rightly so as they want to make sure they don't lose young quality players as they are experiencing problems in the under 21 level are as a lot of teams in the same situation and at U19s level with many teams folding.. Other teams have contacted the junior association with similar ideas previously in the past couple of years and were told no. The academy as well as a few other academies are working on improvement ideas for their academies including preparations for a development squad in readiness for the juniors joining the senior/pyramid ranks. Please don't tell people to stop spreading rumours when you not informed of the situation. I don't spread rumours as I don't have anything to gain by it and not interested in windups or rumours. If I have a viewpoint I will state as such, if I have a fact I will state that. I have been very impressed with Rossvale academy as they are constantly looking for ideas to improve the academy as they are looking to cover all avenues to bring more youth players, quality youth players into the academy. There are so many academies looking to improve, Rossvale, Pollok, Hillwood, Clydebank, Syngenta to name but a few and I think its fantastic that these academies are looking for ideas to improve and grow for the benefit of the youth and the local junior, senior teams.
  7. Don't know if they will or don't know if they wont. As long as every team makes a calculated collective decision for their future then you cant ask any more then that. I replied to the person asking the question, is essence, if any team should move up a level if they waited a year just because of who they are
  8. Obviously, Bonnyton would have got in the year before Auchinleck. There will be more powerful teams than Bonnyton that might not join so they go in to the next level that is started. (the only way I'd see then being in the same league if Auchinleck joined a year later is that there is only, say 10 teams in the division in 2020-21 and the LL wanted to make the new WOS the following year, 2021-22, into a 16 team league and if Auchinleck are still doing the business then id expect them to be first in the queue to the next space available). its only common sense. if you went by the rule that Auchinleck just cause who they are cane let everyone from the west region join a WOS and then they wait a year out and then join stating they want to go in at the top level. Nope wouldn't and should never happen. That's why the East Region Juniors have had problems, they said they wanted in at Tier 6 along side the EOS but that wouldn't be fair on the EOS teams who were previously East Junior teams but left to try and progress and now they could have the teams who didn't move to then get the jump on them, nope wouldn't happen. if Talbot want to wait, there is nothing wrong with that just means they will go into the next level that is available if and when they decide to go into the pyramid/senior system.
  9. To be honest to me it doesn't matter how many fans are at West Calder or any team for that matter, there are fans of the team. I wasn't there to swing anything, I was there watching my son and I asked the question to see what committee and fans views of the pyramid from both teams during the games he participated in. The problem is with too many people, some on the senior side, some on the junior side and quite a few give daft /blinkered reasons for staying or joining. For me there are so many people who have no vision and it is what it is. I don't mind any team not joining the seniors/pyramid but its best to try and be objective, look into all options and then make a calculated decision what to do.
  10. Burnie man, I think this is similar to a few clubs as they have other problems in hand the now so they are trying to deal with other issues and its quite a common thing to happen when committee have too much to deal with. I wish West Calder well and hope they get everything sorted. Lovely park and such a good community feel
  11. At the end of last season with last 5 games left I was speaking to most of the committee of West Calder about the pyramid and they didn't want to know about the pyramid and had no interest in it. They were happy the way things were but personally that's just because they didn't know the ins and outs and it didn't suit them then. Also I’d say most fans, well true fans of West Calder were happy the way it was. Obviously things are changing and I'm sure they must be or need to be looking into it just incase more east region junior teams leave. I will say, the conversation was just the committees and fans own personal viewpoints and I get that as they haven't looked into it. On Saturday I was at the Kilbrinie vs Rossvale game, I didn't go rummaging with questions but Kilbirnie fans were chatting to me before game and at half time and most were making comments about the pyramid but not one really knew anything about it so they were quite rightly not for the seniors/pyramid. To be honest any real fan will follow their team no matter where they go or what level they join so in reality this is what a committee is for, to run the club in the right way in the best interests for the fans and to make sure everything runs smooth and hopefully and including successful team. If the committee of Kilbirnie have looked into it and don't want to go then I think that's the best for their club and back them 100% and would say the same if they wanted to join the pyramid they and any team would get my backing as long as they have looked at all the pros and cons.
  12. If people want to take things personal or hold a grudge, bitterness etc... then I'm sure they don't do to well, as a person or association lolol. its an idea which would help to improve their league, especially if quite a few junior teams left the league. I don't really care if they would want to do it or not. It was an idea which was put forward and they knocked it back and that was even before all this carry on in past month. Rossvale asked for and U23 team and their first team was still in the top junior west league
  13. Interesting subject. Rossvale contacted the Junior association to ask if they could have an U23 team join the league at the bottom tier and were knocked back. This could also be considered if junior teams leave the junior ranks for the seniors. Many could add a team back into the juniors.
  14. I tell you summit, sometimes I come out with some calming posts that make you all sit down by the fire, sipping yer wines n beer together and all laughing and joking as friends
  15. I don't know whose expressing an interest or not but honestly, if every junior committee had any savvy and understanding, they would all express and interest and what is that, solely expressing an interest to find out what's on offer. it gives every club information of what could happen. if Kilwinning do it great, if Auchinleck do it great, if Pollok do it great, Clydebank do it great. Doesn't mean any of them will take up what's on offer or they all might take up what's on offer. An expression of interest is exactly that and no team should think bad of themselves or anyone should think bad of a team for doing so
  16. Ffs guys All this trying to get one over each other, what ages are you all, 40 - 50 year old guys sitting behind a computer, high fiving yourself thinking you've got one over each other. Who gives a shit, each team looks after themselves, if there are committees of teams who are loyal to the juniors so what, that's their choice, so hope it goes well if you stay junior the same for the ones who want to try and become more progressive, good luck as well Daddy has spoken, now carry on
  17. I should get a cut as well and my posts and innovative, interesting and always makes people want to reply Just watch this
  18. Haven't got a clue where this is from The EOS and SOS don't need A WOS as it means more teams can take some of their places for promotion hopes but both these organisations know that its best for Scottish Football, having more involved with a purpose and the chance of becoming a bigger club Everyone knows or should know that if a West starts then the main west league will go straight into Tier 6, so that means it will be equal with the EOS top division nd the SOS. When you say West I take it you mean the junior association. All that is the junior association officials trying to get the best deal that keeps them in power and quite a few West Teams aint happy with the junior body, especially the way they have handled this pyramid carry on, even the ones who are staying
  19. Yes agree with above. There are junior clubs who want to join the pyramid system There are junior clubs who do not want to join the pyramid system There are clubs who do want to join but think it wont work for them due the situation they are in There are clubs who do not want to join but know they may have to reconsider if certain others join the pyramid. Right now its in a state of flux but I believe a WOS is coming and I absolutely find no problem with this and if the teams who don't want to join, then I hope they stay and the juniors continue as they are
  20. The teams out of the pyramid is meant that the east and north juniors are still in the junior association, (they haven't moved) so id expect them to be in the Scottish junior cup. The west teams would have been part of the pyramid would have been in the Scottish challenge cup as far as I'm aware. I'm sure that is correct or the plan, as I'm sure someone can concur or correct me where necessary.
  21. W - the WRSJFA Premiership ONLY is linked into the Pyramid at Tier 6 (i.e. below the Lowland League and equal in status to the EoSL Premier Division and the SoSL) for season 2020-21. The champions of each, IF LICENSED, qualify to play off for promotion to the LL. The WRSJFA Championship, League One and League Two will effectively be placed at Tiers 7 to 8. The ERSJFA and the NRSJFA remain outside the Pyramid. As far as I'm aware Never was it mentioned in option W that E|RSJFA and NRSJFA go into tier 8. Option W, was a straight forward option for the whole West Region to join in with the top league in at tier 6. I believe it was devised so that it could go in easily and seamlessly and let the East and North be sorted at a later time as it looked more problematic
  22. I get all that. George said on his twitter creative writing but he didn't officially say who the creative writer was, (unless I missed it), but I'm sure everyone believes they know who he was talking about. There's also naivety by each of the junior member representatives not realizing that LL would never go for Option Z. As soon as I heard about option Z, I stated on here that it would never get through. If I'm a junior member and there is even the slightest possibility of my team going to the senior league then id make dammed sure I know everything there is needs to know and more in regards the set up, the history, how the structure works and what other possibilities can happen in changes to set up. At the end of the last two months of last season I spoke with 7 or 8 committee men from four other junior Teams the east and they were all against going senior but didn't even have a clue the process, how its going. They just said NO and gave no reason. For me that is just blind ignorance.
  23. No one, NOT ONE PERSON has said it was backed by the SFA, that's not what was put to the four members of four different junior teams whom they were representing, two of whom are my friends. Also for your information I don't watch senior football, Im involved in youth games and go to junior games each weekend. I aint blinkered in any way junior or senior. I want the best for football and I believe the more join the pyramid the better it will become. Why would the LL go for (Only Option Z would involve any clubs necessarily changing Leagues or becoming Senior, or would have any implications for the Licensing process (floodlights etc). When we know most of the teams in the junior league are not able to go in at Tier 5 due to not having the right facilities under current rules, that's just for starters. Option W for clarity folks I believe was (W - the WRSJFA Premiership ONLY is linked into the Pyramid at Tier 6 (i.e. below the Lowland League and equal in status to the EoSL Premier Division and the SoSL) for season 2020-21. The champions of each, IF LICENSED, qualify to play off for promotion to the LL. The WRSJFA Championship, League One and League Two will effectively be placed at Tiers 7 to 8. The ERSJFA and the NRSJFA remain outside the Pyramid.) Option W was the easiest and quickest fix, if that would have happened it would eb easy to get the East and North to join the flollwoing season
  24. honestly, what idiot would put it to his member clubs without getting proof from the LL, SFA of whatever league or association that option Z was backed. ESPECIALLY when everyone knows that its not in any way worthwhile for the senior leagues to accept option Z
