We had an outbreak and the first game back after the outbreak was away to Hearts with the first goalscorer a player that we hadn’t seen all season up until then due to injury. Gozie Ugwu. So I’m inclined to believe this to be the cases tbh

We’ve got a great chance here to go 3 points clear with a game in hand. Form here would point to a Pars win but McGlynn talking about needing start putting wins together now and getting more consistency etc in his pre-match interview on Thursday past. Preseason prediction has absolutely nothing to do with how any of us would feel now. My preseason prediction was 6th but If we finished 6th now, it would be disappointing

When does the loan window close?

Our chairman voted for exactly what he said he would. He said he will vote for permanent reconstruction. He also said he’d vote against anything else.

I’d be extremely disappointed if we were to finish 8th now and class the second half of the season as a massive failure, if we were to do so. We are 3 points off second with a game in hand, have sat 2nd majority of the season. The absolute minimum we should be aiming for now is 4th.

And the majority of people don’t think Neilson would be good for the other 9 teams in this division. They do however think McGylynn and Campbell could be though.

Nobodies saying that though.. I doubt Neilson would have been as successful with us as John McGlynn is, on a shoestring budget though I also doubt he’d have kept Arbroath up there as one of the best part time teams in the country.

Neilson gets slaughtered as with the budget he’s on, he shouldn’t have lost to Rovers, Dunfermline, Alloa, Dundee etc.
