  1. And aye I'm enjoying the ride albeit from afar. Will be taking in Accies at home when I return to Scotland briefly and have scheduled time to come back again if we look to push the title all the way
  2. It was a bad decision, horrific, but surely the worst decision of all time is that @%£#& goal being deemed over the line in 66! 😉
  3. Website reporting that McInnes has been issued a notice of complaint after events at Tannadice, hearing to be held in a couple of week's time.
  4. I think Faroese fans got section A in the main for when Scotland played a qualifer up at Pittodrie. The only time I remember a dons game as having a Main Stand away was Bohemian fans in section E.
  5. Pleased to hear we've launched an LGBT fan group: http://www.afc.co.uk/news/7536.php
  6. Just finished reading Fun Home the other week, very well done graphic novel I thought.
  7. Would never have happened if we had bought [NAME] in January or taken [NAME] out on loan.
  8. 1. "Cheeky _________" 2. "Cheeky _________" 3."Cheeky _________" 4."Cheeky _________" 5."Cheeky _________"
  9. Does being dull really mean it would rank around one of the 'worst towns in Scotland'?
  10. In fairness, a lot of Aberdeenshire towns that are now deemed 'commuter towns' are not bad - Inverurie is a nice wee place I've always thought. On the other hand, places such as Balmedie, Newtonhill, Portlethen etc all seem to be soulless places occupied by crappy 80s prefab housing and new Barrat/Stewarty Milne homes beside dual carriageways. I'm from Ellon, which I guess is in the middle of the two examples.
  11. 1320Lichtie probably calls it 'oaty dip dip' or some other shite.
  12. Up for this. Sign another player from County, late winner next week and further head detachment from TGFITW. Should be a laugh
  13. No, that's not evidence. Please show me statistical evidence that 300,000 migrants have come into the UK and "not integrated".
  14. Actually, approval ratings for Corbyn in Scotland are more favourable than Dugdale: http://imgur.com/UEpyGhAfor the graphic (too big to post here)
  15. Agree with this, it's definitely a case that depends on the player we bring in and although we've done it before (Logan at the cup semi immediately spirngs to mind) I hope Storie keeps his place and starts against Celtic. You'd imagine if we were getting someone who would immediately start and slot into the side it would be someone with experience at this level or former first team at another premiership club. At the very worst Storie could be subbed off if it turns out to be another game to soon for the player, but he's done very well over the last two games and should be pleased with himself.
  16. Absolute stuff of nightmares. Very, very worried. Reckon Peter Kjaer is fit enough for a game?
  17. NtP is pretty right on this. I was involved in the ISG, which was an organisation that ended up pretty much folding into RIC and whos former members are playing a leading role within RISE (including featuring IIRC two top-list candidates for the upcoming election). I ended up leaving the ISG and not getting involved too much in RIC after certain practices within the ISG which amounted to a pretty poisonous political atmosphere, including a very misogynistic and bullying environment towards several comrades in the organisation. A complaint made to RIC from several woman activists based on inappropriate conduct (including advances, behaviour towards etc) of an activist within RIC was not acted upon, the backlash of this culminating in friends receiving harassing Facebook messages from several other people involved within RIC. This stopped me and many other people declining to get involved further in the project (I'm not a great example as I left Scotland in the summer of 2014, but had stopped doing RIC stuff months before due to this). From what I know, a fair few faces involved in this, including those who said they would act on the complaint but did absolutely nothing, in my view paralysed by 'fear' of causing any controversy and disruption, are now parts of RISE. I understand I'm not being particularly helpful in the sense that I'm not at liberty to divulge names at the request of several comrades affected, but the overall thing I'm trying to get over is that I see very little progress made on these issues, as somebody who became involved in politics in 2003 and has seen their fair share of shitty practices and crap, ineffectual organisations (I was close to being a list candidate in 2007, too!).
  18. I know a lot of the RISE candidates personally. I think it's a damn shame than Jean Urquhart is on the list as she is a capable politician and this coalition is going nowhere. It hasn't helped that several RISE activists have been called out by other activists for their behaviour towards women which has been roundly ignored based on a paralysed fear of the leadership of 'splitting' the non-existent 'movement'. I think the Scottish left is crying out for a left-wing party that challenges the SNP on a lot of their regressive policies but this group are not the ones to do it. After knowing a lot of these activists personally for almost ten years it disappoints me to say this, but there's a reason I'm not involved (living overseas aside) anymore.
  19. Don't know much about trainers but picked these up yesterday:
  20. Stella 4. That or Tennents as I'm in a pub waiting for a pal and them's the only lager options. Shite.
  21. Understand it's bad for drivers and east coasters trying to go about their business, but I resent the closure more for this monstrosity that has just popped up online.
  22. Derek Ferguson apparently having no clue about the rules of the game.
  23. Ham, olives and mushroom with a stuffed crust from Forty's Pizza in the Czech Republic. Delivered to your door for a fiver, decent.
