    What relevance does that have?

I'm not defending Angus either, just saying that the football clubs have nothing to do with each other, all totally different towns (and your village too of course)

You not due a username change? emoji12.png

The fact that relevance escapes you probably says it all, as for my username this has been answered by me on a few occasions

Yep that was a 2-0 hammering which is a  bit worrying - we got a chasing in the first half despite playing down the hill and he fact that the meagre home crowd was reduced to cheering the odd quarter-chance in the second half spoke volumes.

Both goals were a bit soft but tbh Annan wouldn’t have been flattered by 3 or 4. Too many home players just not up to it. Keeper did nothing wrong, again and I thought Chris McLaughlin was very good. McManus worked hard as ever but to everyone suggesting we need another good striker alongside him i’d say - fine but if we can’t keep possession of the ball and give it to the front men in the first place then it doesn’t matter who those guys are. On that note I would start McCord every time. I know he’s not fit and I appreciate the manager sees him in training when we don’t, but at least he can put his foot on the ball and give it to someone in a red shirt which is more than can be said for most. Olly Hamilton had a couple of bright moments as well but has to learn to get his head up when he’s made 30 yards at speed

Agree with most what you say have to say Crawford is simply not nearly good enough and we really need to get someone else up front to help Shagger. Did not think that Annan were any great shakes  the big difference was their No7  and they scored two goals and we could have played for another 90mins and would never have scored. I don't normally comment on referees but some of his decisions were a disgrace as was some of the play acting by a few Annan players. Looking at things just now I really fear for us but the saving grace might be there are a few teams about our standard in this league.

About time this got started, we’ve had a rest, we should be raring to go, everybody should be available apart from, King Kev, Duggan and Bell, will there be any changes???

We’re still undefeated but we’ve dropped 6 points from the last three games, DY might look at that and freshen the side up a bit!!!

We have to win this to stay in touch at the top but should the return of Agent Smith be a worry to us ...

    ...probably not!!!

Think Forfar have more to fear from agent smith😂

Can certainly say Mark Wilson comes across great when speaking unlike previous managers... knows where the weaknesses are in the team and won't shy away from any questions put to him.

Speaking was his job on the telly / radio !! but really hope he does turn things around

  6. I think BB_Bino summed it quite well with regard to managers that are currently doing a decent job and received a lot of stick from previous clubs. I am sure if you asked Forfar fans and probably some players about Bollan  they would not have anything good to say about him. As I said in my post about the appointment not sure what to make of him I just hope he does the business and can stop us sliding to the HL

It sounds like the complete opposite of that. You've already got a lower league player commenting on the appointment saying how much of a knob Wilson is, and that player as far as I'm aware hasn't even played under Wilson. If players who haven't even played for him have heard bad things about him then you can bet the majority of the lower leagues will know about it too. I can see Wilson having to win players over here.

Or maybe Sean Dickson is a complete knob

Interesting appointment and one that on paper, should excite the Brechin fans. He’s a name that should attract initial interest from potential sponsors and across the wider community and he’s also someone with the background that players would want to play for.

Ok, something has happened at Airdrie that the fans weren’t impressed about, and that obviously cost him his job, but when your club is in free fall and you are only 3 points off the foot of League 2, then you are either going to appoint a manager that failed elsewhere or another rookie. Queens Park, Cowdenbeath & Cove are proving at this point that people can still be good appointment at this level with a CV blip.

Good luck to Wilson, obviously hoping it’s not at the detriment of Stirling but he comes across as a good lad on the radio and deserves another chance to make a success of his management career.

    Well said that man:Clap:

This is the best appointment since Ray McKinnon.

Mark Wilson has got plenty playing experience under good managers at Celtic and Dundee Utd,so hopefully has learnt a lot from them.He always comes across well on Off the Ball and Sportsound on a Saturday too.

Good luck Mark and welcome to the Glebe and lets get the positivity back.
