Why on earth would the club release statements as and when they are turned down by managers? What other club does this?

Did I say release statements as and when managers turn them down ? I was meaning given the mood of the fans and the club generally being at rock bottom an update on what is going on would be a good thing to do to keep fans in touch and used that as an example, surely the much vaunted team could do something.

    Bullet dodged.

Imo Aitken sees himself as above League Two. The Stirling Albion job would've been an excellent opportunity for him to rebuild his reputation, but he was too busy calling out our fans on national radio for getting him sacked, whilst refusing to acknowledge the fact we were at the foot of the table and playing the most vile football ever seen.

    Seems familiar :Frown:

  3. Maybe a little update or comments about whether Aitken or Price were in fact offered the job for example would be helpful and keep the fans updated with facts rather than them having feed off  comments in newspapers or  stories from  the Stables😂 that may or not be true, the committee really do not do themselves any favours sometimes.

Cowdenbeath's behaviour post first leg was far worse than the perceived bad behaviour of Cove after the second.

Losing fair and square is painful, losing due to weak officiating, dodgy decisions, is bad enough.  Although the officials didn't cost cove a win, they cost cove the chance to see if they were good enough to win.  Only sending cove players off in the melee was ridiculous, but not as funny as watching your gaffer hide a player in a tyre pitch side to avoid detection.  Was it merited that cove lost 3 player, yes, but Cowdenbeath should have had at least 2 off also.

Take this shite  to your own thread we have enough problems of our own to discuss on here

Martin Smith goes to buy booze FOR THE SUPPORTERS in the city club and platinum lounge. If you bothered to come into the city club and actually chat to the people in there instead of chatting shit online you would know that. These are difficult times for the club, and all Martin is doing is trying his hardest to keep morale as high as possible. With a part time club, morale is absolutely essential. I bet if you saw a FRACTION of the work that man puts in to keeping the club afloat, you’d wet yourself. People talk  about trying to overthrow the committee, but absolutely none of them could do a better job. You seem to think the committee are just twiddling their thumbs right now and not paying attention to what’s going on, but they’re exploring every available option, they’re working tirelessly to protect our club - and what do they get from it?? People anonymously threatening to shaft them. If you walked a mile in their shoes you’d have a hell of a lot of blisters buddy.

I agree with much of what you say ( especially the booze gate episode😂 ) but the fans especially the season ticket holders have every right to have their say and unfortunately the joys of being on any committee is everyone else knows how to do things better. Don't think anyone should doubt  how much effort & time is put in but sometimes time & effort just don't cut, but I do take my hat off to anyone who goes on the committee as it does take up a lot of your personal spare time and with some who have the option to do work for the club within their working day. I have been there and done that.

As for Anonymous statements for the record what is you name 😆

  6. Isssac Layne the enigma, no doubt there is talent in there but he tends to play a great 30/40 mins then 10/12 weeks of shite no manager to date  has been able to get inside his head. I really hope he now pushes on and realises that it is team game and goes on to becomes the great player he could be

So i took in that game yesterday . Came home had tea had a look on here .  Refrained from posting anything Saturday night . Had more than my weekly intake  of vodka . Now Sunday morning and my head is fuzzy  so perfect time to post. I had the fear close season , this fear is growing stronger with every game we play . Speaking to QP fan who said they had a lot of new faces close season too . Difference is they looked like a team , their passes found team mates . No one arguing with fans , own players . Calls for change ?  Yeah sure but as others have said if theres is no Plan B whats the point ?  If there is a Plan B then by all means do it .  I really dont know where we go from here , i really dont . Highland League  for us for sure as i wouldnt back this current side to make it in a play off .  Derbies with Keith next season if things dont improve .

They may have a manager who has  tactical know how that extends further than shouting "up get up" every 5 minutes.
