How fucking stupid of all the police wading in especially the guys swinging battons at the start, no doubt this guy will be putting a claim in.
I've no issue with the first couple whacking him down as they will have no idea if he's got a blade etc. Nor the next couple of officers getting involved as it will take a good few folk to subdue someone. It's the next dozen plus or so steaming in from cars that looks dodgy and will have the guy's lawyers getting a semi.

I am delighted that big Robert Thomson took the chicken dollars as he was always good for a goal or two against us.

I toyed with buying a ticket to Tenacious D but I've no friends
That said I have bought a ticket to James in June on my tod.
Going to gigs on your own is one of life's great joys. Along with solo dining and holidays.

An absolute certainty Dumbarton will lose at Stranraer next week.

I really hate to tempt fate as it's Dumbarton we're talking about here, but have the play off dates been announced yet? Can't see anything on the SPFL website and it will decide a potential holiday booking.

Only word of note was that although the Young Sons are great, I think some of them forgot what ground they were in with a couple of songs in first half
Heard that too. I'd hoped that it was variation on an East End favourite but it did sound like the original...
I'd also add in Aron Lynas as another who looks much more settled with Durnan playing. As Jan stated, he'd a right good battle yesterday and did well.

As decent a first half performance as I've seen in a while. Blair Carswell had some very decent stops wheres Hogarth has just had to pick ball out of net twice.
Cue a second half collapse but it's been a good watch so far.

Interesting choice of photo to release.....
Wonder if he and senior officer who refused to allow the Packer line of enquiry to continue in 2005 were in same Lodge?

There's a lack of pace in that team imo. That's my big worry.
Proven to be 100% correct so far. First minutes aside, they've slowed it right down and looked very comfortable.

I remember when I bought the Game of Thrones DVD box set it came with a large fold out wall chart with all the characters and their interlinking Houses.
Somebody needs to produce similar for the Glasgow/Edinburgh/Irish crime clans

God knows, I'm not Jackie Baillie's biggest fan. But it's a decent statement and it's an election year so politicians will be trying extra hard to be front and centre on local issues to cement votes. If it gets our plight front & centre and turns some heat on CC then I'll happily hold my nose and support her on this issue.

Reminds me a bit of Jamie Stevenson to Mallorca (I think) when they were in La Liga. I'm sure there was also a guy who went from East Fife to Spurs in the early 2000s, but I can't remember his name.
Andy Rodgers not do similar?

Good luck to the lad.
He tore us a new one in the first 15 mins of the 1-5 defeat in March last year when we were still top of table. .

In a similar vein, I decided to learn a bit of German as I was visiting annually for football etc and wanted to get beyond the Ja and Nein.
I used to like Duolingo but they changed the format about 18 months ago and I just didn't find I was progressing. Their boffins decided that gameifying it would mean more profits as people would be forced to buy premium to get to next level.
I can now order food & drink and understand the basic tourist requirements etc. The problem is when they speak back to me and I'm lost. The apps don't really prepare you for conversation.
Or worse - they just respond in English.

That line up looks worryingly attack minded. At least we won't die wondering.

The state of them in the BBC article.
None of them will live to see 50. Which is a pity as I hope the suffer a long time for what they did.

At the end of last week my boss asked me if I'd completed a task I was working on. I responded wirh a double thumbs up. I'm considering resigning
Was it in the style of We are the Champions kids TV show?

Imagine being that desperate to attend a shitey cup game against lower league opposition (that is being broadcast live) that you resort to buying a half season ticket for the opposing side to guarantee a ticket. I’ll gladly accept the daft buffoons money but what a bunch of weirdos!
Plenty spare seats when this happened....

Any chance the club could sell a small part of the carpark to a mobile company to build a phone tower to improve the WiFi signal at Rock? It's non existent the moment.
Plus that would help pay for the astro pitch.
