Everybody laughing at Rangers losing is fine, but where did this extra time actually come from? Questions need to be asked
I actually had Killie on my coupon at 7-1 but shat it when I saw the 6 mins and cashed out.

The 5-4 game is up there with the greatest Sons matches of my 40+ years support.
It's up there with Oswestry plus another Alex Williams humiliation when we hammered Morton 3-0 at the Rock during their infamous collapse season.

Another batch getting released. Ballot for ssc members.
Be nice if they sent out the ones we paid for month ago before they take even more orders.....

Just punched the air when I heard the Tony Bennett news and then had to explain why to my frankly disgusted family.
Finally getting off the mark after my premature mortification of Pope Benedict.

Currently 241. Renewal notices for 2023/24 going out soon. Rarely been a more important time to be a Trust member. If you have any Sons supporting friends who are not members or perhaps lapsed members, please encourage them to join.
Not wishing to teach you to suck eggs but don't think putting a wee link to the form on here when renewals start would do any harm.

The shirt sponsorship thing is just systematic of the direction of travel. It's noticeable how many of our former sponsors are still active elsewhere - at VoL Juniors in particular.
Anyway, what about the Sons Sorrow regulars? Hundred quid each. Half to club and half to CHAS Robin House with their name on the shirt.

For anyone who isn’t bothering travelling tomorrow it appears that Airdrie will not be offering a streaming service.
Sounds terrible but the current format of the League Cup holds zero attraction and I'd rather save my cash than attend. Glorified pre-season games.

Lucky brake for you.
Was too busy ranting. Will quickly edit before anyone notices.......

Not that it still annoys me or anything......but car passed its MOT today.
That's third MOT and servicing since Macklin Motors told me I needed to change all the brake sets on a 2 year old car that hadn't even done 9k miles - which I obviously didn't do.

So you’re telling me that the editor and staff of the Sun have potentially acted like total scum without any regard for potentially ruining people’s lives?
Couldn’t have seen that coming.
They've done their job as they set out to do. Everyone is talking about it and they've added fuel to fire for #DefundThe BBC twitter blue tick mob.
They'll be happy no matter.

In 'recent' terms, Owen Coyle must be in with a shout. Pretty sure he scored at 16 or 17 in the 80s.

It would appear you need to have an Instagram account to use Threads.

That's my account jiggered again. All I did was scroll through it once this morning and flicked through stuff posted over night.

A rather worrying sign that the board are having no luck sourcing a sponsor for anything and are now giving commission out to fans in the hope anybody comes forward. Almost as if having dodgy owners damages your marketing potential.
This was my thought as well. At least the new commercial manager is trying something different but it all does seem a bit panicked.
We've all had a wee chuckle at the Elgin situation but at least they have/had a connection to local business community. We'd bite a leg off for six figure sponsorship deal.
A wee crowdfunder from the users of this thread?

Just bought a ticket for Saturday there. Done and dusted in under a minute.

Very decent shirts which I hope will sell well and get us some revenue. Hats off to whoever designed/sanctioned them.
I'd also like to see us sort a sponsor sooner rather than later (hopefully with a logo that's sympathetic to the designs!) as we need the cash. Would be a bit embarrassing to be only non sponsored side in the league as well.

So, aside from the potential re-signing of Broun and Vata, are we thinking that's our business just about done for the summer?
Edit- much better put by @The Moonster

I cannot believe Forbes is still getting a deal at this level. He's offered next to nothing for years now. Hasn't looked fit for about 4/5 years and his game is far too limited.
I have been looking for Carswell to go for years. For some weird reason, he had a reasonable rep with a fair amount of our fans and was always the choice pick when we had folk arguing we couldn't play him and Hutton together. I haven't rated him since his first season and a half with us really. Even in that time, he broke a team mates nose in an onfield debate...
Not concerned about Clyde too much if that's the level of signing and Duffy is still involved in their recruitment like this.
Guaranteed Carsey to do a full 80m sprint to signal GIRFUY In front of our support when he scores against us as our ex players inevitably do.

Nothing much to add other than yesterday highlighted just how vital it is to have options on the bench and not just whoever is half fit. Cant actually remember the last time we've been able to switch things around so dramatically with subs. Forfar bench was similar to us last season.
