Good to see the roof is completely off the seaside stand and is presumably being replaced rather than being a victim of storm Francis, several parts of that roof has had gaping holes for a couple of years. The board have really invested heavily in maintaining and improving the ground in recent years.

I think you know exactly what I’m getting at but obviously want to be as obtuse as possible which is fair enough. What it does show is certain fixtures here have been prioritised here for the financial gain of certain clubs, it’s absolutely unthinkable the first old firm game of the season was going to be played behind closed doors and it was never going to be.

As soon as it was official the first old firm game of the season was scheduled for October 17th, this obviously means fans will be allowed back in on this date. Of course the fixtures are completely random though.

How can clubs go back to training if they are claiming furlough until the end of August?

Both should be given the opportunity to clean it up themselves, if they refuse it’s perfectly reasonable for them to be tied to a stake in the centre circle whilst we throw shit at them, from a responsible distance obviously.

It would be good to get a deal with a sportswear distributor rather than a manufacturer, there’s where more reputable brands would be open to Arbroath, some of the stuff Football Nation has done in the past for a few teams has been good, along with a decent online ordering option. I’d rather leagues were larger and we played teams less, 4 times a season really is ludicrous, especially if you get teams in the cup as well. Larger leagues would hopefully encourage teams to build properly instead of short term fixes all of the time. This absolutely won’t happen though.

What happened to the SPFL deal with sky & BT in 2012? Was it re-negotiated? I genuinely can’t remember but it’d go some way to giving an idea to how plausible any type of reconstruction would be now really

The SPFL have confirmed you don’t get counted as a Championship club until P&B move the league threads accordingly.

They should void the season in that case, and split the prize money equally amongst clubs.
