  1. I think the referee deserves a mention tonight, never created any drama dealt with things swiftly and didn’t let anything boil over and IMO got every decision correct .. Thankfully there was nothing on the dodgy linesman’s side of the park that he could (being kind) make an arse of, (being honest) choose to ignore!
  2. The linesman was 6feet away, he has a duty to call that out!
  3. Ridiculous that he should be allowed to officiate in a match involving a team he had an affinity too!
  4. If you see the decision, it was a pathetic decision, then to say to the players it wasn’t that bad a challenge was furthermore pathetic!
  5. Did he not play for Boness Utd’s arch enemy for several years? If so it’s kind of hard for him to be impartial?
  6. Am I right in saying that the linesman who was only a couple of feet away from the horror challenge on Saturday was an ex player and may not have an unbiased view regards Boness?
  7. Hopefully Miller is comfortable this evening and gets the best possible treatment, felt for him and his parents who were not far from the incident. Best wishes to them all.
  8. It was a disgusting challenge, deamed wreckless by the referee, the referee - how wreckless does a challenge need to be, the Wick captain has not only endangered his opponent he has put his opponent in hospital with a very serious injury! The incompetent referee doesn’t check to see if the Boness player is injured, he’s too eager to talk to the Linesman and agree they have got it right before seeing the severity of the situation! The Boness player lies in hospital while the Wick captain gets a second bite at the Scottish cup of which he was out prior to his crippling challenge! a horrible CNUT of a player!
  9. A disgusting challenge when the ball was away and the centre half had no chance of getting to it, lunged in and caused a serious injury to Zander, thoughts with Zander this evening. The match officials need to be reprimanded by the SFA, they have a duty of care to the players and neither the linesman who was right next to the challenge nor the referee when he ran over even looked to see if Zander was ok, they both conferred decided on yellow with no consideration or even checking to see just how bad the injury was caused by the wreckless challenge. Disgusting display by the Wick captain and the match officials.
  10. Just seen the highlights, neither looked like reds to me. First wick goal reminds me of a comment on here years ago, Murphy couldn’t keep hens out of a close!
  11. Agreed, his performances the last 4 games (only 1 starting) have provided a strength middle to front that Boness have been lacking since Alan MacKenzie left. In my opinion!
  12. Agree Galbraith played well, could have been MOTM. I thought when Anderson came on he gave something that had been missing all night, he was taking players on and going past them, he wasn’t pushed off the ball, he was putting decent balls in the box and making the keeper work and at one point showed that although carrying a bit timber he has bags of pace! Prior to him coming on Boness we’re the better side but without really threatening. All about opinions and no doubt mine will upset some sensitive souls.
  13. The angry mob were using every profanity they could think of to abuse Gemmell(which to be fair was very limited as the most intelligent of the mob looked like he had the IQ of a flip flop), McCormack was laughing at them and questioned the parentage of a particularly loud dense chap wearing spectacles and Max gave them his views on independence, this succeeded in offending a support who liked to dish it out but became very sensitive when it was highlighted how moronic they were!
  14. Highlight of the night for me were McCormack and Max taking the piss out of the angry mob of home fans that were berating Boness as they walked of for halftime.
  15. Murphy’s easiest shift in a Boness shirt, could have stayed at home tonight. The shouts from the home support were absolutely moronic, the challenge on Gemmell was a straight red every day of the week! Boness were the better side but never really looked like scoring until the substitution of Anderson on for Stevenson, Boness then started creating chances and began to make their keeper work. Anderson was only on the park for 15/20 minutes but for me he was MOTM. Boness thoroughly deserved the 3 points but it was a painful watch!
  16. Whataboutery, the manager picks what he thinks is his best side from what he sees in training and on the park, I think he has got it wrong this season as far as Gemmell is concerned, I don’t see a direct replacement for Gemmell. Hopefully they get a result today without him.
  17. At the risk of repeating 8mileBU, 2 totally different cases.
  18. Would walk into any Lowland League or EOSFL side. In the last four years Gemmell and Hunts epitomised Bo’ness.
  19. Sad to see Michael gone a big player for Bo’ness. For the last few seasons the clubs most consistent player, ……. No offence for being honest!!!
