  1. Will the hive still be following orders next week? A good chance for Ewing to get his own back for the greater good. Will Matheson still have the powers to vote and can Sturgeon be relied upon to turn up at her work these days? With the rate of change today it also gets more likely by the hour he realises his tea is oot and throws the towel in before any vote
  2. The presiding office still seemed to be assisting Humza earlier so fair chance they will still be onside when the tears stop
  3. With friends like these who needs enemies. A shameful dumping of the gardening wing with not even a vote to make it look like a unified decision. Humza seems to have forgotten one chunk of his party runs seamlessly into green territory. Surely Forbes or the skull can't be too far away from putting Humza out his own misery
  4. Not sure the play offs bring much cash in and they aren't well placed to win promotion so finishing 3rd might also be a target for them
  5. The red tops running with the expectation of more charges incoming. Even the greens are pondering whether being seen next to the Snp will damage their street cred. The way things are building Humzas tea could be out if he can't bring some sort of unity to the sinking ship
  6. The answer would be probably in debt and perhaps heading down a division after paying off a string of managers plus covering a transfer dept that might not have washed it's own face. Spending on infrastructure is great and will be worth the sacrifice for pushing us up a level. Once the stand opens hopefully a lot of distraction is removed and the focus becomes mainly around the playing side. Excluding Brown i do remember the last decent manager we hired managed to put us in a better place without all of the added luxuries.
  7. A journalist on X saying a general meeting has been agreed but no date yet. Will this come to more than the annual handbags each year around budget time? Surely there are some members who still prioritise animal welfare/greenhouse gases to bickering around gender issues?
  8. Has the judiciary in Scotland not been taken in house and became a functioning part of the Snp?
  9. Any comment yet from the Greens around the climate change targets being brushed aside? Probably all of their outrage will be focused on puberty blockers that will feature much higher up their list of priorities!
  10. There is also a recurring theme in this league of teams having an injury crisis and dropping points. In addition to adding quality having better cover and balance may also help to kick us on. Hoping we may build the squad a bit and still places available for a good few signings
  11. From memory Rose did ok against Arbroath and Queens Park during their early season slump. Perhaps you could have made an arguement around adjusting to the game up here but i also think the league below might just be his level
  12. Templeton is a good example and in those days you'd get away more with a maverick player. Had the sports science and distance covered been around it would have been interesting to see where he stood
  13. He was down south also last season and had there been interest IUnited would have moved him on by now. I agree that some teams in the league will be keen on signing him. Others who play a certain system and allow less of a free role won't. If he is going to be one of our top earners then happy if signs providing they build a team around him. If Brown wants a certain work rate and more of an overall game from the players then money better spent elsewhere
  14. I see this word hater getting thrown around. Please feel free to highlight any examples as almost everyone rates Chalmers on here
  15. It's not quite as simple as that. Why has a player with attacking technical ability beyond this league not found a home and be among the first names on the team sheet?
  16. If he were 21/22 i would agree with you and more inclined to take a punt. Would be interested to see how he fared in the league below and whether it's the level causing the moments of madness. We really need to sign a steady defender or two, doesn't even need to be the most capable but just someone who is steady away. Literally every defender we have is erratic and it looks like many of them will be kept on
  17. If we haven’t already reached it yet there is a point where affordability will become the main reason for many choosing how they attend. Marquee signings etc will still count but the per person match day spend model might not work at championship level
  18. A win and a draw from the next two games will see us safe. Not quite a formality as Morton are one of the teams we haven't played well against. We seem to have tightened up so hopefully can avoid being pushed about and leaking silly goals. Whilst four points will be enough it may take a few weeks of teams throat cutting until safety is confirmed.
  19. Post covid and since cash in the game tightened further this league has played out the same most seasons. A lack of depth and quality has meant very few outstanding sides and most teams able to beat one another. Don't see things changing too much next season and another open league. It will only take a few decent signings to push us up a good few places.
  20. He is still fairly young and got time to develop. They obviously see something there which is good and can hopefully turn this into eventual first team appearances. Alongside this Bryden and McKenzie have also been playing unusual roles whilst Bryden perhaps should have went on on loan earlier. Appreciate we have just had to get by this season but i do hope they have a proper pathway to get young players developed and not just covering problem positions
  21. It does raise questions around the pathway for Watret. By next season i would like to see him as cover for right back and getting involved quite often in games. Have they also not been trying to shoehorn Tomlinson into this position also? Unless Watret is away down south in the summer or McAllister is indeed our first choice right back
  22. It perhaps depends on the system and style we will play. If it's one based around work ethic and reliant on everyone doing certain tasks then he might not fit in as well. On the other hand if the creative players are given more of a free run and play built around them then he may do well
  23. Over the last few seasons it seems harder to not get a new contract than earn one. Probably a cost effective way of covering a few positions and frees up cash for Glendinning to shop in the depths of englsh football
  24. Navigating those daily struggles in a good fee paying school make him the perfect candidate to be lecturing Scotland on disadvantage.
