Sounds like a promising signing although he hasn't played many games. Has anyone seen him play and know what he's like? Is he quick?

Not sure about him. What's he been like at Hibs? Maybe worth a punt since he's still young and was pretty highly rated before.

Agree with this. Playing as a box-to-box player I think he'll be useful, definitely not as a number 10, don't think he's got enough technical ability to play there.

Remember Hemmings had a slow start with us too before he started scoring for fun. Think he'll come good for them, he's too good not to I think.

I thought he looked bright when he came on today. Some great touches and runs. Once he's settled in I think he'll be first choice.

Ideally we would sign a right back and a centre half, or even a right back who can cover at centre half. I really like Kerr and think he has a good future with us but he's young and inexperienced and teams will target him knowing that. Couple that with a lack of real cover from his right winger then it could do him more harm than good being in the team.

I would never call for Hartley to be sacked at this stage, partly because we need stability and sacking managers every other year isn't going to achieve that, and party because there are no credible candidates out there in our price range. It's a shambles that we're (more than likely) out the cup already without a doubt, and Hartley has to take a lot of the blame for that. He also has to take the blame for the fact our defensive record and our away record is so poor. There's no hiding from that. This is a big season for us this year and he needs to get it right.

I was under the impression Duffy played more as a wide player, but might be wrong. I don't know much about him. He's probably more comfortable out wide than Wighton though which was kinda my point. Regarding Williams, he definitely is a winger, but wasn't played as a winger yesterday, or a traditional winger anyway which is what we lacked last season (from what I've read on here). That's what I was referring to as 'nonsense'.

Wasn't there yesterday but a little worried that we're still making the same mistakes and still having the same difficulties we were last season, and even the season before. I thought we had sorted out the width issue with Williams and Duffy signing but reading this thread it appears we had Duffy through the middle and Williams wide right cutting inside. Absolute nonsense if true.

Did he not just sign 3 or 4 years ago, rather than come through their system from a young age? Would mean reduced compensation I'd imagine.

Would be delighted if that was true. Would prefer him to Mallan I think given his experience playing down south.

I didn't realise it was as many as that! Suppose it says a lot about his quality if that's the numbers he's producing whilst not being at his best in some games. Special player. Will be gutted when he inevitably signs for Rangers.

Great to see two Dees in the final four. Little bit surprised at Stewart, don't think he's been at his best at times this season but he's still contributed to most of our play going forward. I'd imagine he'll be near the top of the assists table, and is probably into double figures for goals. It's amazing we've got two nominations and still finished bottom 6. If we could defend we'd be some team.

I get the feeling that's where Hartley will play him so that's a little worrying. We've already got plenty of players who can play the role just behind the striker, so probably don't need anyone there. We've kind of converted Nick Ross into a holding role and he's actually starting to adapt well. Has played well there in the last three or four games after looking way out of his depth to begin with.

I like Konrad, he's a really good defender but gets caught out with crossed balls sometimes and maybe struggles with physical strikers. Think that video shows he would actually be a pretty good ball winning midfielder.

It's amazing how quick people are to judge an 18 year old playing regularly at that level for the first time. How does his time there compare with someone like Russell? In terms of goals and game time they're not too dissimilar. Russell was a year older too. He's done alright for himself.

Shame for him cause he was having a really good game until he went off. Kerr will come back and provide decent enough cover for McGinn though.
