Yeah, agree with that. Would say Tesselar is a decent option. Looked decent and fairly quick at Dens. Apparently Meggat from Alloa too although I'll admit I don't remember much of him from last season, but he's someone Hartley obviously knows well so I'd be happy with that.

Fair amount of compensation would be required for Hendrie. Rules him out as a viable option IMO. Think he'll be heading down south anyway.

Would be very surprised if we were after him. With Irvine's form this season it looks like he'll get another deal, then with Cammy Kerr coming back from his loan spell and McGinn already here, we'll have three right backs!

Don't think we could stand in Letheren's way if he wanted to leave and be a number 1 somewhere else. Far too good to be a back up keeper! Will no doubt be on a decent wage too. Can get a decent back up for less I'd imagine.

Might be wrong, but is Dillon not one of the higher earners at United? Wouldn't want to pay high wages for someone who isn't likely to be nailed on first choice every week.

I like McPake and think he's probably out best CH, although I'll admit that sometimes his positioning can be off which leads to him having to make a last minute lunge to win the ball. The 4th goal in the last Derby is an example of his poor positioning. The gap between him and Dyer was far too big making the through ball to GMS a lot easier. Still think he's easily one of the better CH's among the bottom 6 sides and Hamilton.

Wouldn't mind seeing that to be honest. Getting loads of game time and got his first goals at the weekend. Great experience for him. I'd imagine if we get another striker in he'll go back out on loan.

Definitely an odd one. Can't think of anyone else who would loan a striker, who can score goals given the chance, to a rival. If this is true then we must be in the market for another striker.

I read Hendrie was out of contract at the end of the season. Surely if they could get £2m for someone who can leave for nothing in 6 months, we can get a bit more than £200k for CW. Didn't he sign a new deal earlier on in the season? Hoping we reject anything less than £1m. If we're serious about focusing on youths then we need to try and keep a hold of our best prospect in years.

Would be gutted to see him sold before he even gets going at Dundee!
