  13. Craig Wighton Arbroath today have completed the loan signing of striker Craig Wighton from Dunfermline Athletic until the end of the season. We would like to thank John Hughes and everyone at Dunfermline Athletic for allowing Craig to make the move to Gayfield. Arbroath supporters will have fond memories of Craig from his last loan at Gayfield which sadly was cut short by the Covid Pandemic. Craig had joined Arbroath on loan from Heart of Midlothian and scored the winning goal on his home debut against Partick Thistle before scoring the winning goal at Tannadice just days later in a memorable result for Arbroath. Another goal came against Greenock Morton which looked like we were on for another win until a cruel 95th minute equaliser, but with 3 goals in 5 games Craig showed his quality and skill and led the line brilliantly. We are extremely excited for Craig to get back scoring goals for Arbroath and knowing many of the players and Management team we will give Craig and his family a warm welcome back to Gayfield. Craig will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s match. C’mon the Lichties
  14. For any supporters wanting to watch Sunday's game it will be live on arbroathfc.tv for £13. It's a live camera operated by a skilled professional, with two co-commentators and pre and post match interviews. All the details can be found on the Arbroath FC website - https://www.arbroathfc.co.uk/arbroath-vs-ict-pay-per-view/ Due to many supporters and season ticket holders unable to get in due to the spectator maximum of 500 we are running a test login event on Saturday 1st January from 5pm to 7pm at arbroathfc.tv Season Ticket Holders should use their email address they signed up with their season tickets, and if this is the first time since last season you will be prompted to change your password. All supporters can try this login test tomorrow who are purchasing a stream. There is a live chat box in the bottom right hand corner so if you get stuck you will be able to get immediate help. Given the unfortunate circumstances we are facing right now we just want to make sure everyone who wants to watch has the smoothest possible login and isn't still trying to get in once the game has kicked off. Thank you
  15. Arbroath vs Inverness Caledonian Thistle - Ballot Results The ticket ballot has now been completed and if you have been successful for the Inverness Caledonian Thistle match on Sunday 2nd January you will now have received your e-ticket by email. (Please remember to check your spam folder) If you have been unsuccessful unfortunately you won't have received an email and we can only apologise. With the postponement of the Hamilton Academical match at such short notice we drew a random ballot for the remaining tickets available. This was the fairest way to allow as many of our fans who had entered the ballot the opportunity to attend the game. We appreciate your consideration and understanding and please note all season ticket holders outside of England who are not in attendance can watch the whole match live on Arbroath FC TV. We shall be sending out a reminder on how to watch Arbroath FC TV and doing a test event before Sunday. Details to follow. Thank you and C'mon the Lichties
  16. Just put out an update https://www.arbroathfc.co.uk/season-ticket-ballot-update/
  17. We had just sent out the first 100 tickets, then stopped the emails going out when we were made aware of the postponement. That's why some supporters had received an email, and others hadn't. We just put a halt to the remaining emails going out.
  18. Season Ticket Ballot Update Earlier today we began the process to dispatch the tickets for the Hamilton Accies match. The first 100 tickets were dispatched when we were then informed the game was going to be postponed and we halted that process. ALL Supporters who applied for the Hamilton Accies match as their 1st choice were successful as well as a number who applied for it as their second choice. We will soon be emailing ALL supporters who picked the Inverness Caledonian Thistle match as their 1st choice. The team are currently going through the ticketing process and tickets will be dispatched shortly. The remaining tickets will be put to a second ballot for those who missed out on the Hamilton Accies match due to its cancellation as a second choice. We are doing out very best to be fair and transparent and to give all our loyal supporters the chance to cheer on their team under the current restrictions. Many thanks again for your support. C'mon the Lichties
  19. We have been really taken and moved by our supporters who have been in touch or posted here or on social media saying they want someone else to take their place and enter the ballot. Huge acts of kindness and we really do appreciate those gestures. The ticket ballot closes tomorrow at 11am. If you haven't already entered and still plan on doing so, please do it ASAP. If you have had issues with your ST number or not had an email or maybe just bought a new half price season ticket and not got your 13 digit Season ticket number please email office@arbroathfc.co.uk ASAP. The emails will be checked early tomorrow so we can make sure all who are eligible are included. Half price season tickets are back on sale after a lot of requests and this is also for anyone who wants to make a last dash to enter the ballot. Don't miss out! We want as many supporters in as we possibly can! Your support makes all the difference to the team. https://www.arbroathfc.co.uk/ballot-please-read/
  20. A message going out to all our season ticket holders. Please make aware your friends and family who have season tickets to check their email so they don't miss out. Arbroath FC Season Ticket Supporters Ballot Everyone at Arbroath Football Club has been working incredibly hard to make sure that you, our loyal supporters won’t miss out on cheering on the team at Gayfield Park over the next three weeks. We want to be together with you. Swift plans have now been made by the club to accommodate a maximum of 500 Arbroath supporters for each of our home matches against Hamilton Academical on Wednesday 29th December 2021 (7.45pm kick off) and Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Sunday 2nd January 2022 (3pm kick off). We know that some supporters are going to be unhappy, but we hope that you can understand this precarious situation that we are in. With that in mind, a ballot portal has now been set up which is open to all 21/22 season ticket holders and supporters who have purchased a 21/22 half season ticket only. You will be asked to complete the relevant fields which shall include your email and unique season ticket bar code number displayed on your physical season ticket card. To try and be fair to everyone, there are two options. Option 1 - To choose either match as your preferred first choice, this will not guarantee that you will be to attend this match but you will then be entered into a random ballot where a maximum of 500 season ticket holders will be issued an e-ticket for one game, with the remaining a maximum of 500 season ticket holders being offered a ticket for the alternative fixture (season ticket cards will NOT be active for these two matches). Option 2 - To inform us that you do not wish to attend either of these matches in person but instead use your virtual season ticket and watch both games live via Arbroath FC TV. Informing us if you do not wish to attend either game will also assist in making sure we can utilise the 500 tickets to the maximum ability. The Closing date for all applications is Monday 27th December at 11am. You will then be emailed in due course a print at home or display via your phone e-ticket for the match that you have been selected to attend. Whilst we are extremely disappointed to be informed that our full loyal fan base cannot be in attendance at both matches, we do hope you can appreciate the short notice measures put in place by the Club to try and be as fair and as transparent as possible to allow you to be present during these imposed restrictions. Thank you again and C’mon the Lichties

  24. If it is lashing with rain, or a howling gale or both since it is Gayfield it would be unfair to expect 800-1000 supporters to just shelter under one small terrace. Segregation is based on by the number of tickets sold and Kilmarnock have sold more than Hamilton.
