Friday night for the Queen’s Park game is shite. Ruins a good day out in Glasgow. What happened to the evening Saturday ko’s we had last year? Much better slot
Yeah could well be. Free agents can sign whenever so could be waiting a while for that to happen, but wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what we were holding out on
Mcglynn has completely broken Raith fans . 43 league games unbeaten. Invincible season. Wins 5/5 in a new league. He has transformed our club almost single handedly. But aye he’s pish cos Raith fans say so
Agreed. Don’t think Maciver is an absolute world beater, but the alternatives are such a huge drop off that we need someone else as a 2nd choice until the end of the season
Exactly. Our proven front 4 are Maciver, Miller, Nesbitt, Morrison. We couldn’t start any today! We are going to lose games in this league. This squad will go again next week, wouldn’t be surprised if we respond very well at home
Deserved win for Raith, a shame we bow out of the unbeaten run with a bit of a whimper but having seen the team there were glaring holes all over the shop. We’ve been lucky with injuries throughout our run but felt like today was a step too far. Any team with 6 of their literal best players out would be f**ked and the fact we made it fairly close was a decent effort. Onto next week!
A ridiculous time to be a bairn. Thank you to this team, a lifetime of memories provided in about 18 months. Only really stopped by an injury crisis that was bound to happen eventually. The navy blue army.
It’s funny, for the last 2 years we’ve had Raith fans coming into our thread telling us Mcglynn can never keep a steady 11, he’ll have a brain fart and change it up every few weeks. Now it’s he runs players into the ground. They can’t seem to decide can they
Why? It’s completely fair if applied to all clubs. But of course our clubs, who run our leagues (guess who’s to blame at the top there), never do anything together for the good of the fan.
Yes, exactly, otherwise big clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and Falkirk are “category A” games and every time we go away we’re charged more than smalls clubs like Morton.
Not even the mental league that is the English premiership does it. All clubs will have different categories of games (eg man United category a, Ipswich category b), but away fans are all £30 no matter what; due to fan power. We are so far behind up here it’s a disgrace.
The irony of contract length talk when 36 year old Lewis Stevenson has signed a 2 year contract and 34 year old Paul Hanlon has signed a 3 year contract
