Losing just a single lifelong fan who is opposed to an unapologetic rapist signing, to someone who becomes a fan because an unapologetic rapist is scoring some goals, would be an absolute travesty.

No qualms at all with how FSS have handled this. Very unique situation in regards to Goodwillie, and they seem to recognise these polls etc. would really only be for exceptional circumstances - which this is.

Unless we have 2 starting defenders in for this it'll be back to reality with a bump. Goals we scored against Dumbarton were goals you'd see v a juniors team, and we still gifted them 2 and could've been more. -

As poor as our attacking return has been it’s the defence that is by far the biggest riddy. 30 goals conceded in 19 games is a joke and will stop us winning games second half of the season. 1st season in this division with Durnan and Buchanan we were solid as a rock. That’s how average you have to be in this league to defensively do fine

Couldn’t catch too much of the game but this is the perfect summary for me. Pretty mental defensive performance from Dumbarton especially after being so worth their victory here back in September

Dowds can say what he wants when he wants. He is currently our best striker and just scored a hatrick for a club who treated him like shite and who’d lost 5 in a row. To me he is currently our shining light

Better today but Dumbarton are no indicators. Playoffs should be the aim, and with dowds back hopefully board see sense about goodwillie. We should pool those funds and get 2 proper Centre backs. Easier to find than a striker.

I am not itk, but I’m guessing that’s what the club’s doing with the KM interview - they put out a tiny snippet today and said “tune in pre match for the full interview”. Wee tease? Maybe he’s in the squad tomorrow

Good news R.E dowds. The absolute least we should do is give him to the end of January to see if his heart is in it. If it’s not, punt him to Arbroath or whoever. No harm done. Good decision!

If that’s the case I’m not sure many fans would be upset. If PT saves a wedge of cash and we can also pick up a couple of the better PT players from this league and below it would be a no brainer. Really hope you’re right.
