  1. Dom McLaren has left, he’s away back to Kilbirnie Ladeside. A shame really, I rated him quite highly and was looking to see how he developed over the next season.
  2. Roberts is a cracking player, potential to be a star in league 1. Fantastic energy and ability on the ball, id imagine he’ll be well liked
  3. Roberts is the biggest loss, definitely think we’ll struggle to replace him. The rest I’m not too fussed, Hart has done a good job but I’d like to think goalkeepers are reasonably replaceable, providing we don’t sign an absolute diddy.
  4. At best he is a League 2 player. Nothing about him says he is even good enough for the bottom end of League 1. Surprised Donnelly hasn’t kicked on since leaving QP. Really liked him, although I can understand the frustrations people have with him regarding his severe lack of aerial ability and general body language on the pitch. Would happily have him back however
  5. Very good in the air and can put in a shift at centre back if needed. Not aggressive enough for a guy of his size but could be effective if used properly. Not overly fussed he’s away
  6. Only ones that have improved over the season would be McLean and Mcgrory I'd say.
  7. Looking at the squad the now, there's not many I'd be looking to bin. Just a very inexperienced group at this level and I'd imagine this season will be a massive learning curve for them, particularly for guys like Moore, East, Grant, McGrory etc However, I'm not convinced that Roberts is the right guy to be in charge. 1 win in 17, is basically half a season and quite frankly that is absolutely dire. To have players like Hart, Mckernon, Galt, Gibson, he's severely underachieved with the squad. I'd love to be proved wrong but im not convinced as of yet.
  8. Would of had Smart on the bench ahead of Peters. Like people have said his decision making was very questionable at times but he never hid in games and always gave 100%. Hopefully he helps Albion stay up
  9. Can't imagine Duffy or mcculloch applying for the job. Would like to think they'll have higher ambitions managing at league 1 level minimum. I'd say someone like Barry Smith would be a more realistic appointment.
  10. How was Scott McLean for youse last season? Signed for QP
  11. Scott McLean signed, former Albion Rovers and Kilmarnock winger
  12. I must be only one that likes macphersons antics on the touchline. I find it quite entertaining and shows he's got standards, which was shown last night as we held our shape brilliantly.
  13. How come there's been no sign of Galt. Has he been injured during pre-season ?
  14. Don't see the fascination with Mortimer. Runs about and puts in a good shift defensively but hes rotten attacking wise
  15. Again, impressed with the performance and fitness levels, competing well with one of the most inform teams from last season. Mclauchlan and Gibson have been outstanding so far this season and even though Clyde fans slated him, Osadolor has been very impressive. Arguably the toughest game to kick the league season off, however there's absolutely no reason to suggest that we can't get a result.
  16. Mcgrory was excellent and was definitely my man of the match. Will be interesting to see how he'll deal with smaller pitches, under more pressure because there's no doubt he's got the technical ability. Roberts has been impressive throughout pre season and the first 2 games and scored a belter of a goal. Hopefully that's not the last. Osadolor, Gibson and Mckernon all put in great shifts aswell. Looking forward to see how we cope with the spl teams.
  17. Ross Millen has now signed for Kilmarnock. Extremely surprised he's ended up getting a contract in the spl but good luck to him anyway, he's been a good player for us
  18. Jordan Hart, goalkeeper has signed. Played for Ayr last season
  19. Encouraging performance, especially in the first half. Kurtis Roberts scored a fantastic goal and for me he was our best player alongside Mckernon and Mclauchlan. Mortons fitness was telling for the last 20 minutes but I'm liking the look of the team so far.
  20. Got to agree about the keeper. Didn't exactly inspire me with confidence
  21. If I can recall the lineup went something like this: New Keeper Magee Mackinnon(kilbirnie Left Back?) Gerry Gibson Roberts(kilbirnie midfielder) Mckernon Lachlan Kindlan(Wishaw winger I think?) Trialist( no clue who he was) Peters
