Dowds wasn't great with us tbh even pre Sheerin who clearly didn't fancy him. Seems to have struggled for a start at Arbroath too. He's not a natural finisher although his goal against Kilmarnock was a well taken header. I'll wager that's a rarity. For his sake I hope he has now found a club that suits him. Id be very surprised if he ends up back at us especially with Sheerin in charge, big tall guys who might get on the end of crosses isn't his style, neither are small forwards who might get across defenders at least not the ones we have. The guys a diddy really and I wouldn't at all be surprised if he punts Keena in January to Raith as was mooted earlier in season. The one deciding factor in all this is when not if Sheerin gets emptied. That would mean a clean slate for all but also the terrifying prospect of a clean slate for Jaime "competition winner" Wilson.

Montrose deserved the win. Dominated first half and really we could have no complaints if it was two or three nil at half time. Looked a useful outfit and Petrie got his tactics spot on. Second half was a bit less of an event, Morrison should be off the penalties now, ultimately we got what we deserved nothing. I really don't see how Sheerin's position continues given he has a worse record than his predecessors but no c**t gives a f**k anymore none more than those in the boardroom.

It would help him if he didn't have the empty jersey captain playing beside him. He's having to drop deeper to cover for that useless c**t because he can't do his just job whatever the f**k that's meant to be.

Personally I think that was the start of his stock falling when he decided to go with overpaid experience rather than the younger, exuberant enthusiastic players that got us success. Latapy apart. Do I think he could get us out of league 1 with possibly the biggest budget in the league? Don't see how he would fail given the utter shite standard. He'd certainly be making a better fist of it than Mike Bassett and Ron Manager currently are.

Agreed I'm more looking forward to the day both him and Holt get punted rather than the turgid pish on the park every week. It's got to the point where it is just another Saturday ruined. It won't be anytime soon unless by some miracle the whole lot piss off asap.
