  1. Jeezo, how old does Steptoe look on the extreme right of this image?
  2. I've asked that question myself and haven't had an answer so I don't think a decision has been made yet. I suspect it's something the club will decide once they know for definite which league they'll be playing in next season, along with things like contract extensions and pre-season arrangements. The unthinkable now looks much less likely than it did two months ago. However, I'd speculate that they'll want to be mathematically certain before making any commitments.
  3. The U20 league will no longer exist after this season. There will be a reserve league just like the old days,
  4. Nelson was injured. He was up in hospitality talking about it before the game. Nothing serious.
  5. The eye-catching things about the statement are the words "cost neutral", and that's before we include transfer income. From that you could speculate that those who left didn't get much of a payoff, which almost stands to reason given that they all found new clubs quickly and often with longer contracts. Wage from new club for 18 months & reduced FFC severance for 6 months = win win for both players & FFC. You could also speculate that those who've come in are on lower wages than those who've left. It seems to have been a very good transfer window for us on all fronts.
  6. That's always possible. We brought in Tumilty and Longridge on 90-day loans so if Hartley saw a player he liked it wouldn't be a surprise if we did business outside the window.
  7. Not happening. No more signings before the window closes.
  8. I'm a little surprised we haven't seen more departures from the U20 side as quite a few have their contracts up in the summer. Traditionally, we've let a few go out on loan over the years as their contracts run down, as it gives them a last chance to mark their mark somewhere else before we make a final decision on them. If I were a betting made I'd say that's the most likely movement in the next couple of days.
  9. The U20 League has been in a shutdown since before Christmas. There was a closed-door friendly a few weeks back but no first team players were involved in it. The U20 league restarts again for us on Wednesday night with a home game against Dundee.
  10. Believe it or not, Loy has been top of our "assists" table for the best part of four months. And still is, though Sibbald drew level with him at the start of January. Both have set up four goals. Loys' four came against: Stirling Albion at TFS, when he put in a low cross for Fash to slide in and score, Inverness at Sneckie in July, when he picked up a terrible clearance from the keeper and played in Fash to score, St Mirren on the opening day of the League, when he hit a cross that the keeper palmed up into the air for Fash to head in, and Sligo, when he advanced on the right side of the box and then slid a square pass to the unmarked Fash who scored. Sibbs and Loy have four assists, Craigen Harris & Dunne have three and then there's a pile of players on two.
  11. I don't think there'll be much official word, as that would give our opponents on Saturday an indication whether he has a chance of playing or not. However, he's fine. He walked onto the team bus without crutches or any support last night so I'd guess it's just bruising, though I imagine there will be swelling and it will have to die down before they'll know for sure. My guess is he won't be out for long if at all.
  12. Indeed. I have him down for six in total. Three against the Fifers, one against Raith (as mentioned previously) and the one you've mentioned at Ibrox. He also blasted in a freekick rebound in a playoff game at Easter Road, though as it deflected off Miller that goal might have been give to BSLM instead.
  13. Indeed. A goal from Steven Brisbane of all people. I seem to recall the team bus being extremely late arriving, and that being the first game for a new kitman, along with Leahy and Taylor. Not counting the closed-door friendly two days prior at Forthbank.
  14. The U20s have gone downhill rapidly since Maybury left. Losing 6-1 to Killie, 5-1 to Hearts & 4-2 to Accies were the biggest lows but they've been consistently poor every week for a long time now.
  15. Harris has only one goal in the league, against Brechin. He scored against them in the cup too. The other one came against Stirling Albion. Before the arrival of King Louis, the top league goalscorer was on two. Four of our players had reached that score.
  16. No, Fash was our top scorer with five and has been for some time. Albeit all those goal came against diddy teams. (four in the cups and one v St Mirren) Harris has only three.
  17. The club rarely put a timescale on injuries, particularly serious ones. They don't want to put pressure on the players, nor to disappoint fans if the timescale isn't achieved. I certainly remember they were careful not to give estimates for Peter Grants return. However, you might just find that David Mitchell is able to return a lot sooner than people expect. If that turns out be the case, it's not impossible that won't sign a new keeper.
  18. I'm sure the last time the group posted an update on facebook they'd just reached a hundred members. They launched in mid-August and I think that update was around October. So a bit of quick maths suggests that they've probably made - at the very best - around four grand, unless the members are piling up and they're keeping quiet about it.
  19. Gallacher, Taiwo, McKee, Hippolyte, Thomson, Sibbald, Harris, McGhee, Austin, Miller, Grant, & O Hara. (In order from Jan to Dec) Players are picked by the sponsor whose logo goes at the bottom of each month and whose premises the players are photographed in for the inset picture.
  20. Leaving aside the DS reference, it was a design/printing error which the club didn't pick up on. For that reason every calendar got the tape and signature. I was in the office at the time when the person responsible asked Kev if he would autograph hundreds of calendars to make up for it. To be fair to him, not a single bad word escaped his lips. He's a good lad despite what the Fifers say about him.
  21. You got the first part right anyway, which lends you a wee bit of credibility. Let's leave it at that.
  22. Pretty sure this is a windup. though fair play to you for coming up with a username which is the same as Kevins dads initials. If it IS a windup, that's actually a bit scary. I think a little test is in order. Tell me Boh, which one of your work colleagues has a role at FFC and what is that role? And who did Kevin room with when we were in Budapest last summer?
  23. His loan was extended to the 19th, as the club didn't get a chance to assess him properly due to postponements. Now that they have, and he's playing well, I think it's reasonable to assume we'll want to keep him for longer.
  24. I asked about him last week; he was never training nor on trial with us. No idea where that rumour came from. Though given that Tumilty's turning out to be extremely decent rightback, I don't think filling that position is a priority anyway.
  25. Four departures (six if you count loans), three arrivals and an extension. That's not a bad start considering it's only the sixth of January.
